My First Grader....

My first grade dd came home today and told us..*in a frantic mess, mind you* that Edward..(the little boy who sits next to her in class) told her that when she takes her head band off..she "looks like a woman".
And that she should leave it off more often.

DD came home today in a frenzy..saying she thinks he is in love with her and she dosen't want to get married already!!! LOL

Isn't this all starting too young!!!! God Help me!

When DD was in kindergarten, she told me that when she grew up, she wanted to have a sleepover. I asked her who she'd invite, and she said "Greg and Kurt." They're all 20 now, and Greg is gay...he's always welcome. Kurt, not so much.

My first thought: Stay Away From Edward.

DD had a boy like that in K, he apparently had an older brother who schooled him on "how to treat the ladies". A day didn't go by when he didn't tell a little girl how nice she looked. They giggled at first, then it was just weird.

My first grader lays in her room listening to her CD player singing along to High School Musical or Hannah Montana...I want to know when she turned into a teenager!

I agree, I think it's time for you to invest in headbands...big ones.

She want's her CD. Anyone's kids into her? Is the music appropriate for a 7 year old?? Amazon and Walmart won't let me listen to clips for her????!!!
