My First Ever Trip Report - Day 6 - Part 2 - The Evening

Great to read and see a young man demonstrating that romance is not dead :goodvibes

Few tears here too! Congratulations and very best wishes to both of you ... Sharon x

aww that was a lovely story in true disney romantic way! Now that is over you'll need to start planning the disney wedding lol

Congrats to you both again

p.s. the ring is beautiful

Thanks for all the lovely comments as ever guys :)

Em asked me to amend part of it - apparently she didn't keep asking 'are you joking?' - she actually said 'are you serious?'

Lucky we cleared that up - it changes everything ;) :rotfl2:

A beautiful engagement, thank you so much for sharing and it was worth the wait though I did shred a tear or two (in happiness for you both).:sad1: (should be a smiling face with tears).

Thanks so much :) I'm glad you enjoyed reading, I really enjoyed writing this one!

At last!!!! I have been checking on here constantly waiting for the big night.

I am so glad it worked out how you wanted.

Come on now, we all want to hear about the rest of the trip.

It's lucky it did go to plan - I don't think I could have coped with any last minute surprises!! :rotfl2:

I'll crack on with day 7 asap.....

how wonderful, definatelty a tear jerker! Gill

Thanks Gill, glad you like it :)

Oh how lovely... what a fanastic evening. I'm impressed with you actually getting down on one knee and doing it the "proper" way.

My DH just slid the box across the table (we had the ring made whilst on holiday so i knew what was inside) and said "there you are" and "shall we do it then!"
He said he was too embarrassed to get down on one knee!:rotfl2:

Can wait for the next instalment.

I thought I'd be really scared about getting down on one knee in front of loads of people, but to be honest that was the least of my worries at the time!

wow what a brilliant report :goodvibes

great way to propose, lucky Fiancee :cloud9:

Thanks :) I thought as I'll only be proposing once I wanted to do it properly and make it one to remember!

Awwwwww! What a lovely story :goodvibes

Thanks Gemma!

Hey Photopass buddy!!

Subscribing, so that I can keep up with the report. Thanks for sharing!

Ellen, thank you so much for all of your help - you were just as instrumental in getting the evening as perfect as it was as the staff at the CG. Thank you so much, it really is very much appreciated.

V & A sounds like a great plan for next time.....

Dear Craig,
I know you've devoted hours to writing your excellent report. I also know that feedback from your readers is a large part of the reward for the hard work of trip report writing and hope you will forgive me for reading installments 4, 5, and 6 pt 1 and pt 2 all at one go tonight without stopping to send notes of thanks and comments for each one (although I had several, the two main ones being: 1) That for a girl who had reservations about visiting WDW without children in tow, Emilie certainly got into the swing of things quickly and was a real trooper. and 2) If Disney had sent over to Central Casting for a beautiful couple to be photographed all around their parks to show off WDW in the most romantic light, they couldn't have done better than the two of you.

Thank you for being so generous in sharing the details of your very special moments. Well done, both of you, and best wishes.

Thanks Susan, I have loved writing these reports, esp this one, it helped me to remember all the little details of the night that may well have been lost forever if I hadn't got them down in writing.

I'm really glad that you're enjoying reading the reports as much as I'm enjoying writing them, kind comments like yours are so rewarding and make it all worthwhile :)

Thanks for sharing your special day it sounded wonderful. The ring is beautiful

Thanks very much :) The ring is amazing, we took so many pictures of it! - And I even managed to get the size spot on too :)

Great to read and see a young man demonstrating that romance is not dead :goodvibes

I think part of the reason Em was so surprised about the whole thing was because I never do anything romantic usually! :rotfl2:

Few tears here too! Congratulations and very best wishes to both of you ... Sharon x

Thanks very much Sharon :) Glad you enjoyed it - even if it did make you cry!

Awww :') That was very very romatic and I'm glad all the planning paid off for you!

Thanks very much :)

Romantic and Fantastic.

This should go in some boys handbook - maybe Shoot or the Beano - as an example of how it should be done.
You look like you make a great couple and I wish you all the best for your future together.
Will it be a Disney wedding do you think??

Will you look at that? You've gone and made me cry!

What a wonderful evening, I'm so pleased it all went to plan - and that Em said yes, of course!

Laur's xx
