We've been here since Sunday (the 11th) but today was the first day that we braved the MK and not only was it a lot hotter today than the earlier in the week but it was really crowded. Don't people keep their kids in school anymore?!?!?!

As soon as we got there my DH wanted some food so we stopped at Casey's for a dog in a crumbly bun (please WDW, bring back the fluffy white buns!!!) and then we headed toward Frontierland where I had to stop and get a Dole Whip. This was my first Dole Whip and I must say that it is a bit of an acquired taste. I love pineapple and can sit down and kill a can of pineapple in two sittings so I enjoyed the Dole Whip. My DH isn't that big of a pineapple fan and about gagged when he tasted it. I am glad that I didn't go for the float because that might have been a little too sweet but the regular Dole Whip hit the spot and it was pretty tasty. Poor little Dole Whip didn't stand a chance and was gone before we got the POTC. ;)

I think we'll be hitting DHS or Epcot tomorrow so I hope I can get another one before we leave on Saturday.

Thanks to Bawb I now have a new snack food while at WDW. :)

I love pineapple as well, but really don't care for Dole Whips...but both my kids just love them, so we'll definitely have a couple of empty cups in honor of Bawb during our August visit!

:cool1: I tried a Dole Whip for the first time a few weeks ago. Like the other post, I could eat pineapple out of the can. I got the Dole Whip float. :worship: It was very refreshing and YUMMY. It was a hot and humid day. So, it was melting like crazy. I was glad I didn't get the cone. That really would have disappeared down my arm (like some people I saw walking away from the counter).

:thumbsup2 Next time I am at WDW, I will make sure to get another Dole Whip float. However, as sweet as it is . . . one should be sufficient each trip.;)
