Tim Hortons
First things first! COFFEE!! And at 4:00 am with 1.5 hours of sleep.... I needed it!! Plus you cant start a vacation here in Canada without a stop a Tim Hortons!

However, it didn't go quite as I had imagined it. I had this beautiful pinteresty vision of creating donut Mickeys out of a chocolate glazed donut and 2 chocolate glazed donut holes to surprise the kids when they woke up! But apparently the closest Tim Hortons to our house is very limited in their selection at 4:00 am. My pinterest donut dreams were crushed!!

Dont worry... they still got all sugared up on other assorted donuts... because giving your kids sugar before a long day of travel is always a great idea....but sadly no Mickey donuts were to be had :(

Otherwise it was still good! I had a extra large coffee, Everything Bagel toasted with herb and garlic cream cheese and a tomato slice, the kids all had donuts and hubby just had a coffee. Still good, Still worth the stop.... just a little dream crushing.... no big deal.

Airport Starbucks
I was really hoping to purchase some of those awesome pre-made snack packs for the flight ... you know the ones with like cheese and crackers and apple slices... but the airport selections were actually very limited as well. All they really had were pre-packaged sandwichs which dont really appeal to me. I ended up just getting a pumpkin spice latte which was excellent as always and I settled for just eating the snacks I packed from home.

Intermissions Food Court- Lunch
We stayed at All Star Music and ate at the food court for several meals. For the sake of this food report, I am only going to review each Meal time at the food court and their offerings once. Lunch is my favorite food court meal time. I love their selection! I wish they offered their lunch selections at dinner time. We ate at Intermissions twice for Lunch. The first visit I had the Chicken Quesadilla with black beans and rice! YUM. This was by far one of my favorite Disney... I was starving when I had this... so that could factor in lol. It was right after we arrived after our long day of travel... but ya SO GOOD! My sister had this several times as well. Its her favorite food court meal. I had a cookie for dessert. They are really good. Nice and fresh. DH had Chicken Nuggets and Fries and so did the kids. DH has a cupcake and the kids had cookies They all enjoyed there meal... nothing special.. but good. On our second lunch at Intermissions I had the Nacho Supreme... fully loaded. It was good. No complaints. I had a cupcake for dessert... I never actually ended up eating it. The kids had pizza which they really liked, cookies for dessert. DH had the Turkey and Munster Sandwich with chips. He had Gelato for dessert He really enjoyed this!

Gastons Tavern - Snack
We made a quick stop into Gastons Tavern first thing in the morning on our first day. The whole group was supposed to meet up for rope drop... but my sisters alarm didn't go off.

The woke up at 8:00, dressed and bolted it to MK to see the welcome show! They actually made which was super impressive, but they hadn't eaten. So after our mine train fast passes we stopped in so they could eat! And since we were there I decided it was a great time to cash in our first snack credit of the trip and try LeFous brew! Honestly, reading about it beforehand... it did NOT appeal to me... but I figured why not try it! It was actually better then I expected and it was refreshing on a hot morning. A little bit too sweet for my tastes, but I really liked the marshmallow topping, which really surprised me. I probably wouldn't get it again. But it was alright!

Be Our Guest (Lunch)
When we booked our ADRS 180 days out. Be Our Guest lunch was a really big deal to me. We booked it for our first full day because we wanted to have the most magical first full day ever starting with the rope drop show. It was a great meal and didn'tdisappoint at all. DH and I both had the carved prime chuck roast beef sandwiches with pomme frites.
We both really enjoyed our meals! The kids split had the turkey sandwich with fries and the macaroni. They didnt really care that much for their meals... but they are picky... so that's not surprising. For dessert we ordered cupcakes! (I paid for the kids out of pocket since only cookies are included in the kids meals) DH and I both had lemon merging cupcakes. And the kids tried the master's cupcake and the strawberry cream cheese cupcakes. All were a big hit!
We ate in the ball room and enjoyed the setting as well. We pre-ordered our meals, so it was really nice to just come in, pay and sit down and wait for our food.
It was a really nice alternative for a quick service lunch.

Ohana- Dinner
Our ADR was scheduled for 6:40. We started heading out of MK at 5:40, I clearly over estimated how long it would actually take us to get to Poly. We hopped the monorail and were in the lobby by 6:09. I decided to see if we could check in anyways and just sit down and wait as it had been a very long hot day. That was no problem. We checked in. I headed to the bar to get DH a Beer and a white sangria for me and I swear I had not sat down for more then 2 minutes when our pager started buzzing. The white Sangria was very good. Very refreshing. I really enjoyed it. I didn't check the exact time, but I am 100% it was before our actual ADR time.

We didn't have the best seat, but wishes wasn't happening that night anyways because of NOJ, so it didn't really matter. We were given our welcome bread which was very good. My 2 year old really loved it.
DH and I ordered the Lapu Lapu drinks which are served in hollowed out pineapples. It was ok, stronger then I typically like and they weren't very cold. I wished I had just stuck with the white sangria, but the lapu lapu was on our must try list.

My kids ordered off the alternative menu for dinner. They had hot dogs, chicken fingers and fries. They all liked their food. The food at Ohana was excellent! I was so happy we got a last minute ADR! The chicken wings and pork dumplings were amazing!!!!! Honestly, this was probably my most anticipated part of the meal and it did not disappoint. The noodles and broccoli were good too. I tried not to fill up on this thought.
Shrimp came next. I love shrimp!! And these were delicious. Then came the chicken and steak. Both were good.

DH loved the steak! He ate a ton of it. For dessert the Banana bread pudding was amazing! And the kids had brownies with M&Ms and frosting.
A+ for sure
The food was great! The service was good and we enjoyed the entertainment.
The kids loved the coconut races!

Ohana dinner wasn't an ADR I had originally booked, and I searched for weeks to find one that fit into
our schedule! It`ll be a must do again next time!

Sunshine Seasons - Lunch
Sunshine Seasons was a must try for me this trip.... I felt like last time we spent WAY to much time eating at the resort... and I really wanted to try more quick service locations in the parks. The plan for today was to do Sunshine Seasons for lunch and eat in the world showcase for dinner. That didn't work out.

For lunch I had the Fish Tacos.... I love fish tacos under normal circumstances... but these were just amazing!!! I had the potato salad as a side... and that was just ok... I am not a huge potato salad fan. For dessert I had the creme brulee! AMAZING! I love creme brulee and this was excellent!

DH had the Sesame Crusted Tuna - with Asian vegetable noodle salad. He loved this! That was one of his favorite quick service meals of the trip. He had Carrot Cake for Dessert which he also enjoyed. The kids had Macaroni & Cheese, Pizza Panini and an uncrustable PB&B.... they all fought over the prepackaged sandwich... go figure..

A+ for Sunshine Seasons... It was excellent, lots of seating, lots of choices, good food!

Sunshine Seasons - Dinner

We ended up at Sunshine Seasons again for dinner due to a torrential down pour. We had hoped to eat at either La Cantina de San Angel or Tangierine Cafe in the World Showcase.

But that didnt work out! I had the exact same meal as I had for lunch, except I had coleslaw instead of the potato salad. I liked that alot better.

Jamie tired the first tacos this time as well. He enjoyed them. The kids all had uncrustables after the lunch fight.
A+

Epcot Snack
After dinner the rain had stopped and we wandered over to the World Showcase to catch Illuminations.

We stopped in Canada for a Croissant Donut and it was amazing!
There magic band machine was down, so I ended up paying with a gift card.
A for excellent croissants donuts, but I would have preferred to pay as a snack credit

Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review
I`ll start by saying I love the Hoop Dee Doo Review! I have seen it at least 5 times. I love everything about it. The show, the food, the atmosphere, It`s just a great show.
For this particular visit we had a group of 14 people. We weren't able to get an ADR large enough for the whole party. So we had split it in half. We had requested that the try to put our tables as close together as possible. But unfortunately. They weren't able too. It was fine. Both the tables were in great spots! We were category 1, and in the second row from the stage...so close enough that we had an awesome view, but not uncomfortably close.

This show was great as always! The performers stopped by our table a few times. And picked even used us in the they'll be coming from
all over when they come song .... we were from overseas...Canada ... `from the land of ice and snow, we came just to see their show.
It was really fun!
Our server was a tad on the grumpy side... but he was fine. The food was good! We got a pitcher of Yuengling for the table.
The food was all excellent! You start with salad and Cornbread! I really love this cornbread! Then they bring out the ribs, chicken, corn and beans... and then strawberry shortcake for dessert. You cant really beat that. Good food, funny cheesey feel good show.... like you just cant go wrong with the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review!
A++

Thats all for tonight! I will post more tomorrow and I will also try to figure out the picture thing. :)

Great reviews so far! Looking forward to hearing more from a fellow Canadian! Happy Thanksgiving!

Wolf Gang Puck Express
Wolf Gang Puck Express was high on my must try priority list. Last trip in 2012 we did Earl of Sandwich as our DTD quick service lunch and I wasn't the biggest fan.

So this time Wolf Gang Puck was our must try. I really loved WGP express. It's a great place to go on the quick service plan. I had the mushroom pizza and creme brulee for dessert. Jamie had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and the cheese cake for dessert. The kids all had pepperoni pizza and brownies for dessert. Everyones meal was a hit. Jamie's was another favorite for the entire trip. He actually didn't know what to order and the girl at the counter recommended it. He was very, very happy with his selection.

It's also nice because it's cool and your food is brought to you by a server. It has a table service feel at a counter service budget
A+

ABC Commissary
ABC Commissary was a last resort meal. We were at EMH's at HS and didn't realize that almost every quick service location was closed by the time we were ready to eat.

I literally got on my phone and was ready to book us a last minute ADR at Brown Derby. Jamie didn't want to spend the money OOP for another sit down, so we ended up at ABC Commissary. I was actually pleasantlysurprised, although not my favorite QS Meal. It did hit the spot. Jamie and I both got the seafood platter with fish and shrimp with fries, vanilla cupcakes for dessert. The kids got chicken nuggets and fries. Again, not my favorite but better then expected!
B

Cinderellas Royal Table
CRT was probably my second most anticipated meal. I have always, always ALWAYS wanted to eat in the castle!

Our breakfast reservation was for 10:00 (We did BBB before at 8:05) and we got in pretty much on time.
We met Cinderella and then waited about 5-10 minutes for our Table.

Our server was EXCELLENT... probably the best server of the whole trip. She made sure our glasses were never empty. She was great with the kids, she told us that she would bring us more food if we were still hungry after even thought it wasn't "all you can eat".
She said "she'd been there long enough and new the right people to make it happen" lol. Although we didn't take her up on it.
She keep bringing us fresh pastry trays.. like just awesome service.

The food was good. I had the Lobster and Crab Crepes and Jamie had the Cream Cheese-stuffed French Toast.
The kids all got Scrambled eggs, French toast sticks, and bacon. My 2 year old was given a single waffle being under 3.
That was fine with me honestly, he ate a few pieces of the girls bacon and some of the pastries. It was more then enough food for everyone.

The princesses were the worst part of the meal... just not great. Hardly in character at all. Basically just showed up, signed and took a picture.
No real interaction at all. Jasmine was the only one that tried to engage the kids. Jasmine was actually great. Snow white, Aurora, and Ariel... not so much.

It was still a good meal. I am glad we did it one. Probably wont do it again, but it needed to be checked off the Disney Bucket List.
A for good food and exceptional service, and less then enthusiastic princesses

Intermissions- Dinner
The dinners at the resort food court were by far the worst resort meals. The menu didn't really appeal to me at all.
As I said before, I wish they had the lunch menu at dinner as well. I could have eaten those Chicken Quesadilla every day.
We tried the create your own angus burgers which were really good, but the line was always ridiculously long for that. And the pasta which wasnt good at all. I had penne with white sauce and breaded chicken and Jamie had spaghetti and meatballs.

For dinner the kids pretty much stuck with pizza or nuggets... not super adventurous.
Dinner at the food court was just BLAH in my opinion. Nothing special.

Blizzard Beach Snacks
On Blizzard Beach day, we decided to indulge and skipped lunch and had treats instead.
We had a later breakfast that day as we had slept in that day anyways.

So we decided to get the sand pail ice cream sundae and a dozen mini donuts!

So good! The sand pail comes literally in a plastic sand pail with a shovel! It is chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cream, waffle pieces, sprinkles, cookie pieces, hot fudge, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. We asked for extra cherries as I knew the kids would fight over them. It fed all 5 of us and although we did finish it... it was almost "too much"... we were fighting to finish those last few bites.

The donuts were fresh fried mini donuts tossed in cinnamon and sugar. And we got a raspberry and chocolate dipping sauce.
Excellent! I love donuts tho.... if you cant tell.
We paid out of pocket for both snacks. Worth It!
A+

Via Napoli
Whenever we travel with Grandma, she is kind enough to take all the grandkids for the night and let us have a date night!
They usually just stick around the resort, eat pizza and hang out in the room.

So for this trip we decided to have a double date night with my sister and BIL and do snacks/drinks around the world!

We started the night off with dinner in Italy at Via Napoli.

The more I read reviews about this place the more I wanted to try it! I was like LEGIT pumped to try this restaurant!
We started off with drinks. I had the white sangria, which was not as good as Ohana, but still really good.
My sister had a mimosa which she enjoyed and the boys split a pitcher of beer.

For appetizer we got the Arancini the fried risotto balls. These were very awesome!
They only come with 3 balls per serving tho, which I think is a little on the small size... but they were delicious!
For the entree we decided to split a mega mezzo pizza. We got half Carciofi (girls choice) which is white pizza with artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, truffle oil. And half Piccante (boys choice) which is tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian spicy sausage.
Both were very good... but I thing the Carciofi was the clear winner.

The all around verdict of Via Napoli was good.

For me personally it was AMAZING... that pizza... seriously, I am going to crave that until our next trip.
For my husband... it was just good. He could take it or leave it. I think his mind set was why are we eating pizza when we could get it at home? Except it was like 100 times better quality then any pizza we could get at home.
A

Tangerine Cafe
So my sister is not the planner type. She didn't really care to plan anything for most of the trip and I essentially did it all for her. The one thing she actually did really want to do was try the Chicken Shawarma at Tangerine Cafe... it was like literally the only place she REALLY wanted to eat.

So at the end of date night.... even tho we were stuffed with pizza and various other snacks and drinks which I will review in the next section. We stopped in Morocco for what she referred to as "second dinner" to try the Shawarma. We both got 1 meal and split it with our husbands. I enjoyed it... I really like the Hummus and I LOVED the Couscous Salad it came with.

For dessert they served Blaklava, which I didnt really care for.
A-

Epcot Snacks
Other snacks we tried on date night included...
Norway- Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe - school bread and Bailey's and coffee - A
That school bread is soooo good!

Germany - Karamell-Küche - Caramel popcorn & salted caramel milk chocolate square B
I was a bit disappointing here. I wanted to try the grapes but they didn't have them :(
I settled for the chocolate square which was way chewier then I expected.

Germany - not sure where it came from - Beer -Schofferhofer Grapefruit A+
A-Mazing!

France - Les Vins de Chefs de France -Orange: Grand Marnier Slush C
I should have gotten the grey goose as originally planned.
I made a last minute switch based on what everyone in line was ordering. Way to strong for me.

Ohana - Breakfast
We had breakfast at Ohana for 9:15 for a party of 13.... we were actually a party of 14.

Back story here:
Originally Jessica, Cody and Cormack weren't coming at all. It was my BIL's mom and other sister that were booked for the trip. So when we booked Ohana it was booked for 13 people. Then BIL's sister dropped out of the trip and that's when Jessica, Cody and Cormack joined. So I had been trying unsuccessfully to get a reservation for 15 and then BIL's mom dropped about 3 weeks before the trip which was a whole nightmare in itself since she was the primary on the account and I couldn't just transfer her reservation to Jessica. It all had to be re-booked and all the free dining rooms at our resort were gone... it was a nightmare.... but we got it successfully re-booked.
ANYWAY once that was set, I searched and searched and searched for a party of 14 at ANY character breakfast and nothing at all came up. I checked like 100 times a day and had multiple search combinations set on my dining scout. NOTHING.

We ended up showing up with 14 and saying we "forgot" the baby needed a reservation. I know its an unpopular thing to do and we were prepared for them to say no.... but they didn't. It was no problem and we got 2 tables side by side with no additional wait. Really... they just added a highchair... but it was no issue at all.

Breakfast was great! The characters were quick, we saw all of the characters within the first 10 minutes of breakfast... which was honestly kind of nice because then we could just eat with no interruptions. Pluto kept licking/eating my 2 year old's head which he thought was the funniest thing in the world.

The Juice was Amazing! and honestly so was everything else. I have no complaints at all about Ohana breakfast. Family style was great... they brought us out a second tray which we barely touched... but the service was really good. The kids enjoyed being part of the parade and everyone had a great time! I had reservations about Ohana breakfast, but I would do it again in a second!
A++

Yum! We also did the sand pail sundae on our Typhoon Lagoon day last March. Even with three teenage boys, we could barely finish it! So yummy!

Pizza Planet
Pizza Planet is a weird "must do" for me. It`s always my first choice and I think it goes all the way back to my childhood Disney memories.
There is nothing exceptional about Pizza Planet... but we just have to eat there.

This trip I decided to "mix it up" and I had the meatball sub. Frankly... it was awesome. I dont think I could ever go back to pizza after that!
And with the Cappuccino cupcake for dessert! OmG Pizza Planet just got AMAZING!
(Not that I hate their pizza... because I dont!) I just really loved that sub!
Jamie got the meat lovers pizza with the Cappuccino cupcake
My oldest daughter got the cheese pizza and a cookie
My youngest daughter got the power pack lunch.
And the 2 year old had a little bit of everyone's.

I like pizza planet! I will go there again and again.
A

Hollywood Studio Snack
Back Story: Last trip in 2012 I was pregnant with my youngest and we spent one very long hot day at HS.
By the late afternoon I was ready to pass out from heat exhaustion, so we went to watch Beauty and the Beast and Jamie went to find me something to help cool down. He came back with frozen lemonade and it was perfect and totally hit the spot.

So this time when we were heading to watch Beauty and the Beast, we decided that we should make it a tradition to get frozen drinks for the show! We stopped at Anaheim Produce and got frozen lemonades for the kids and Raspberry Coladas for us.

These were AMAZING. I think they were my favorite drink of the whole trip.
Refreshing and delicious! and the kids loved their lemonade as well
A+

Intermissions Breakfast
We ate breakfast at the food court almost everyday. It was always good.

Most days we would get 1 bounty platter and split it between all three kids. That was always more then enough food for all 3 kids.
Every few days we would get we would get 2 orders of mickey waffles with fruit topping and split it up between them.

Being on the quick service meal plan I was able to order adult meals for them and that was really a good way to stretch out our credits (especially since my little guy was under 3 and didn't have his own credits).
We actually ended up finishing the trip with 1 left over meal credit which was awesome. We didn't pay for a single QS meal out of pocket.

Anyways back to the food. My favorite breakfast at the food court was the croissant breakfast sandwich,
I discovered this on our last trip and had been pretty dreaming of it ever since.
It was just as good as I remembered it! Jamie skipped breakfast most days and just opted for coffee.... but on the days he did eat he always went with the bounty platter.
A+ for Intermissions breakfast

Flame Tree BBQ
Flame Tree BBQ was super high on my must try list! It was good.

I got the 1/2 slab ribs with baked beans and cornbread. Key lime mousse for dessert.
Jamie got the ribs and chicken combo with baked beans and cornbread, also key lime mousse for dessert.
The kids got chicken nuggets and we cashed out a snack credit for a side of onion rings.

Everything was good.... but the onion rings were REALLY GOOD!

I think my expectation of Flame Tree was a little too high overall.
It was good... I think I was just expecting more.

I kind of wish I had tried Yak and Yeti instead... maybe it was just to much meat for such a hot day? I dont really know.
The food was good... but something was lacking.
A-

Tamu Tamu - Snack
Here we tried the Pineapple Whip Soft Serve with Coconut Rum.
So good! and super refreshing on a very hot day! I actually stopped on the way out for another!
This was my second favorite drink of the trip
A+

I am drooling...My favorite meal this past May was Ohana too...I love those dumplings and the wings...and SHRIMP were out of this world...thank you so much for your reviews...looking forward to the rest..

I know right??? I keep thinking about that meal. I cant wait to do it again.

Be Our Guest - Breakfast
We had an 8:45 breakfast at BOG. This was the worst meal of the trip BY FAR.
The whole experience was very disappointing. The cast members were rude and the food wasn't especially great.

After we checked in we walked around for like 10 minutes just looking for somewhere to sit. We needed a table for 5 but couldn't find one anywhere. So we ended up taking a 4 seater table and pulled a chair up.
Right away a cast member came over and said that we couldn't do that and would have to find somewhere else to sit.
We asked politely if she knew of any free tables that seated 5 or more and she literally said "that's not my problem".
OK.... so we walked around for another 5 minutes until a table that seated 5 came available... I had to find someone to come clear it first.

The food came and it was ok... certainly not $19.99 good. But we were on the DDP, so it really matter. Jamie and I got the croissant doughnut and the open faced bacon and egg sandwich to split. The girls got the french toast. I liked the cronut, and the pastries were good too. The girls liked their french toast. But the open faced bacon and egg sandwich was not great.
It was cold and tasted off. I didn't like it at all.

Then as we were leaving there was a huge crowd taking pictures in front of that stained glass picture of belle and the beast... so we tried to leave through the entrance since it was wide open and nobody was there. A cast member literally yelled at us that we couldn't exit there... so yeah.. NOT pleasant at all.

So we had to basically push through a bunch of people who didn't want to move to get out. It really did leave me a little bitter and disappointed in the whole experience and worried that our day was already off to a bad start.
F NEVER AGAIN

Sleepy Hollow Snack
We stopped in at Sleepy Hollow for a snack for the FOF Parade.
We decided on the cookie ice cream sandwich. It was really yummy.
It's really big, ask for a plate... seriously.
The cookies were fresh and chewy.
The ice cream was good! It was a good choice!
A

Columbia Harbor House
Columbia Harbor House is one of my favorite qs locations!
We always seem to stop in here!
This trip I decided on the fried shrimp plate with fries and peach cobbler.
Jamie got the Lobster Roll and chips, he also had peach cobbler.
The kids had chicken nuggets with fries and cookies for dessert.
Everyone loved their food! I really loved the shrimp and Jamie LOVED his lobster roll.

Side note here... my daughter lost her magic band while we were having lunch.. she must have dropped it on the way in.
The staff was super helpful with this matter, and it was actually returned and immediately sent to their lost and found!
I was super impressed... we were probably only in there for 20 minutes or so.
A-

Pinocchio Village Haus
Our dinner of the trip was at Pinocchio Village Haus. This was a first for me and I was glad we tried it!
It was SUPER busy that night we were there. Like packed... it was evening EMH and I did stand in line for food for almost 40 minutes... which was by far the longest food line I stood in the whole trip.
The cast members were all friendly tho, helping people with trays... passing out stickers... just really friendly even tho it was sooo busy.
My toddler had fallen asleep while waiting and Jamie had found a table with a bench.
So he literally just lied on the bench and slept.

Since it was our last night and we still had 5 snack credits left, I agreed that Leah could order this Blue Fairy Godmother slushy thing with dinner. So I ordered our meal and at the end I asked the cast member if I could do the slushy as a snack.
He said nope! I`ll just add it to your order no worries!
That was super nice and it wasnt even in place of a drink.
The kids still got their chocolate milks and they got their slushy as well.

Food wise Jamie and I both had the Caprese flatbread which was very VERY good.
I had chocolate cake and Jamie had mango gelato for dessert.
I dont like mango or gelato... but jamie loves both and said this was incredible!
The kids had the pepperoni pizza, they ate it and enjoyed it.

A+ for great service and good food even tho the wait to order was long.
It would have been long anywhere it was by the far the busiest I`d see the parks the entire trip.

Final Recap

Best Quick Service Meal: Wolfgang Puck Express
Worst Quick Service Meal: BOG Breakfast
Best snack credit: Dole Whip Float
Best non snack credit: Fried donuts at Blizzard Beach (although you can get as a snack just in a smaller size)
Best alocholic drink: Raspberry Colodas at HS (Anaheim Produce)

Second Best Sit Down Meal: Hoop Dee Doo

That's it! Thanks for reading!!!! :) Sorry for no pictures :(

I love those donuts at Typhoon Lagoon as well as Blizzard beach...they remind me of the ones my grandmother used to make ..minus the sugar and cinnamon...delicious...I wish they sold those in the resorts or parks...thanks again for your great reviews
