My first CVS trip, how did I do?

Ok so I want to do this CVS thing, but since im new to it I didnt want to do a big shopping trip...so to test the waters we went today and here's what we got.

We got 2 of the Edge shaving cream that were 2.79 with 1.80 ECB. We had a coupon for BOGO free so with tax we paid 3.13 for both and then we had an ECB print off for 1.80. I asked the cashier if I was only supposed to get an ECB for one of them or if you get them for each one and she went ahead and printed one off for 2.00, so I paid 3.13 for 2 shaving gels and got back 3.80 in ECB. So I guess I did ok for my first transaction? We are going to start doing this on a regular basis, I mean everyone can use free health and beauty products!

I actually got the BOGO coupon from CVS.com

You did pretty good. The only way you could have done better is if you had used the $1 off edge coupon that was in the paper a little while ago. Now take those ECB and roll them into something else.

There's a BOGO edge coupon on coupons.com too. I think the edge ECB was limit one, so your cashier was nice to give you another one!
