ok, here is my first shirt that I have made. I think my printer may need a new ink cartridge and I used the light transfer paper on this, maybe the dark transfer paper would be better, I think I read that the colors are more vibrant using the dark paper? Not too bad I don't think.
So I attempted another one and it didn't turn out so great. Some of the color peeled off on the bottom of the picture when I removed the tissue paper. Did I iron it too long?
I think the second one looks fine. I don't know why there was a problem. FWIW, no one will notice and I don't expect you to wash it more than once or twice.
I really like the polka-dots on the name on the first one. Very cool!
Be careful of using light transfer paper on dark or colored shirts. If you have any white on the design, it will become the color of the shirt!! So, if you have any characters with white in their eyes, the white will become the color of the shirt!
I did this on my very first transfer, which had a lot of white on the design. It faded into the shirt completely and did not look good. I only buy the dark paper now. I think the colors are more vibrant and I don't have to worry about the white parts.
