I'll ask Dayne to make Jacob a list of must do's; it was Luke's first time, too this past April and Dayne was sure to catch all the must do's. It was so funny, Dayne and Gwendolyn made sure to hype up Small World this year and last (last year was Joe's first time)Some of our plans;
This is Jacob's first time to DW (Yes, I was shocked too!), so there are a few things we absolutely do not want to miss. We think he would enjoy Fantasmic, obviously all the "thrill" rides, any other suggestions for a teenage first timer? I've also never seen Wishes (gasp!) so that's another must do!
Yesterday, I upgraded to a preferred room. Last time we were in Jamaica 42, which was a nice walk, but I'd just like to see if being closer is worth the extra $150ish. Plus we are trying to squeeze ALOT of park time into this trip, bc of Jacob, so lets minimize the traveling time, right??![]()

Yes, Fantasmic and Wishes are must do's!!! Luke said Fantasmic was the best part of his trip!! and for some crazy reason I always tear up during Wishes (I love the music)

Hi, found your PTR through Connie's TR. I am also from southern Louisiana, Lafourche Parish. Great start.
My favs:
MK: Cosmic Rays, Pecos Bills
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
HS: haven't found one that I really like
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
can't wait to read more.
I'm here!! How exciting that your DH randomly suggested a Disney trip! And how great that your DS' GF is a Disney nut!
As for park CS'...
MK - We love Casey's and Pecos Bills has been really good both times we've done it.
AK - I hear Flame Tree is very good (except the beans!), but we haven't tried it. We had a nice meal at Restaurantosaurs this past trip, plus it's air conditioned and has free re-fills on the drinks.
Epcot - So many good ones! Morocco is really good, and Sunshine Seasons has a big variety which is nice.
DHS - Starring Rolls is the best IMO, big 'ol sandwich, chips, drink and a fancy yummy dessert for a credit. We usually end up at Pizza Planet though, and we do like it, but it only gets meh reviews from most people.
We have done 'Ohana once and I ate myself SILLY! So stinkin' good, I hope you guys like it!
If you love sandwiches you have to go to Earl of Sandwich at DTD...I am not a sandwich eater and I love their BBq chicken and their club. DS4 loves every soup he has tried there (me too, you know I have to try his) and this last time DH and I split a sandwich and salad....don't know what it is about this place but I really like it!!! It is a CS meal and Wolfgang puck CS is just next door (they too have great food).
Hope you are having a great day!

DH has agreed, and is even excited, to go back to DW in October 2011! We will take my DS9, well, he'll be 10 at that time! I'm so excited to have another trip in the works before we even go on this one!
Now, if they do free dining again, we'll be all set!
Guys, we LOVE food. Like, above most other things.
One of our favorite things to do is to stay home on the weekends, have people over and COOK COOK COOK! So FREE dining was a huge blessing to me! I had been planning on bringing cereal and poptarts and sandwich making, etc.. and now.. I don't have to.
Ahhhhh.. life is good.![]()

If you really want to be close to Old Port Royale, then you'll be happy with a preferred location. When you get ready to make your requests, I'd suggest requesting Martinique 26. When we stayed in that building, our walk to Old Port Royale was about 2 minutes, if that.
Ok! I'm glad I did, then. I have problems with my knees (degeneration), but it's not bad enough to keep me from touring Disneyworld!Seriously though, it is a good idea for me to minimize the walking where possible. We also do parks in the am, rest in afternoon, then back to parks for evenings!
