I've been following the boards and on Monday morning at 7:00am I logged in to modify my reservation at WL Courtyard View. I was real excited to see FD available and quickly choose it. At checkout is where my problems began. Since my balance was already paid in full when I clicked submit, the website kept stating there was a payment error. I thought this was funny as I owed nothing and was adding Free Dining which added nothing. So no other choice but to calling Disney.

First attempt in morning, waited 45 minutes on hold, got recording if I wanted to take a survey and got disconnected. Re-dialing phone number over and over and over and finally got on hold, waited 2 hours, again asked about survey and got disconnected. At 3:30pm waited 2 hours again and finally got a CM. Of course by that time there was no Courtyard view available but there was Courtyard with bunk beds for $172 more. Since I am only traveling with my wife I did not need bunk beds and on principal I didn't want to spend more money on them since at 7:00am that morning I had what I wanted in my shopping cart for no additional charge, had the website only worked.

Anyway, this morning I logged in and saw the Courtyard was available again reducing my balance again to zero:yay: and was able to change it!!! Thanks for letting me vent. Now I can get back to what's important, which is doing a countdown to September.
 
The payment error happened to me until 5 minutes after. I think it's locked till their exact time to release. I got it too once the error cleared but I got mine at 5 after.
 
Your lucky the website will not allow me to modify anything. I just get the red print at the top that says please call... before and after free dinning madness.

Looks like the best way to do it was to book online a new vacation put down the deposit and cancel the org. res. after free dinning calms down.

Sorry you had so many problems, but glad everything worked out in the end and you were able to take advantage of FD with the room category you wanted :goodvibes.
