My favorite things about DVC is?

There have been so many recent posts about bad experiences with DVC, that I thought I would start a thread about all of the good things...

There are so many things I love about DVC that it is hard to know where to start...

1. The great themed resorts
2. The huge villas
3. The fact that we can keep going back to our favorite place over and over again and know where we will be staying
4. Hearing "Welcome Home" when we enter the gates each time
5. Getting to share all of this fun with friends and family!

Anyone else?

I actually like that most of the guests are DVC members and are more "laid back" since they know they are going to have vacation for many years. May sound silly but I have noticed a qualitative difference, which I think extends to the CMs.
Part of why I am one of the few that is happy anytime they restrict points that get "traded out"

I love the fact that we book our trips, we don't worry about discounts, free dining, or any of that other stuff! We pick when we go, and just forget about the lodging part!

Also, we still love the rides of WDW, but really don't care if we miss anything. We know that we will go again soon enough.

I love all the planning. I am barely home and I am thinking of which resort we will go to next. We usually combine it with a cruise at least ecery two years.so that adds to the excitement.
My son and daughter both have very stressful jobs and I love seeing them get excited as the trip gets closer.
We always go as a family of 10 [ soon to ne 11 with another grand baby ] and it is the one time when we really relax and enjoy each other.

I will never regret getting my DVC. I just wish I had bought it years ago when my own children were little,

I love being able to make my reservations whenever I think about planning. I love know that the room portion is already paid. Animal Kingdom SV rooms always put a smile on my DD face. I love just relaxing at the resorts summer after summer....

I love that we always have an excuse to go back to Disney World (not that I need one!!). Afterall, I certainly wouldn't want to let those points expire and go to waste... I love hearing, "Welcome Home!" I love being able to bring others and just spend time together. I just love the whole DVC experience.

The wonderful resorts!

Able to take 3 Disney vacations in one year

Sitting on my balcony in the morning having breakfast I made in our kitchen! (even if it was just bagels)

Annual pass discount

Staying at BLT and walking to MK

The thing I love most.....just being able to be a DVC member!!!

I know we pay dearly for our MF's and initial points.
But I love not getting a bill at checkout! And I like having 3-4 trips lined up.

I also agree with a previous poster, the guests at the DVC resorts do seem somewhat less stressed and in a less rushed state. This adds to a stress free vacation for us.
