My favorite thing about my resort is...

I love those foggy mornings at the AKL where the natural curves of the thatched roofline rise out of the mist. It just makes you feel like your staying on a wildlife reserve in the heart of Africa.

I had a hard time picking a favorite... so I have two.

At Fort Wilderness, I love the sounds. Quiet near the campsites in the morning, music near Pioneer Hall, the sound of the buses as they come around a corner. Also, the trading posts make me happy. Something about the the sounds and music when you open the door.

My other favorite is the Polynesian. I love the grounds. The theming and plants are perfect. And standing under a palm tree and soaking up the atmosphere is amazing.

My favorite thing about...

-the Polynesian is the atmosphere- flickering torches at night, colorful flowers, white sand beach. And being on the monorail line doesn't suck!

-the WL is the lobby- it feels a little like being in a giant family room, with everyone coming and going, sharing stories, resting between activities. Plus I like how easy it is to get around, and the MK boat.

-AKL is, of course, the animals! Nothing niftier than waking up with ankole cattle outside the window! Plus- zebra domes!

-POR- Such a peaceful resort, and the boat to Downtown is awesome!

-ASMu- Cheap! Not usually as crowded as ASMo. Did I mention cheap?

-BCV- 5 minute walk to Epcot! Being able to watch Illuminations from my balcony!

My favorite is Wilderness Lodge because it's comfortably magnificent! That lobby is truly magnificent, as are the lake views. But it's also incredibly comfortable. And for someone like me who loves wood, the interiors and furnishings are soothing and welcoming. I know a lot of folks find it to be too dark, but I love it!

And then there the geyser, the boats, the easy access to the monorail resorts, and the feeling of being a million miles away while still being incredibly close to all the action!

Wilderness Lodge is perfect for me...and, thankfully, for DW as well.

My favorite thing at Pop is sitting in everything Pop eating dinner and hearing New Kids on the Block start playing!! Only at POP!!!
I Also loved when we stayed in the 50's and walked out my door and saw the fireworks from Epcot!

AKL - sitting there with the balcony door open and hearing a 'clomp' and you know you've got giraffe's bumping heads outside your room, and running to see what they're doing.... or on a very quiet day, hearing them drinking from the waterhole. Also, naming your bongos.... trying to spot whatever baby is about....watching the zebras get shirty with everyone after being told 'they don't play well with others'. I won't stay anywhere else

The great deal I am getting! Our last 2 stays were at the Swalphin for $125 per night We do not use the pools so we just pick a resort for the deal

What a hard question!

I think out of all the resorts I've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge has been my favorite.

The smells- oooohhh the smells. I love the smell of the AKL with the smoky wood and the spiced meats. I love the large lobby with the high ceilings. I love the medalliions on the floor for chalk rubbings, I love the fire pits to sit around in the evenings. I love the big crest as you walk out the door that you touch for good luck. The food - is amazing even at the counter service. Mara is the best - love the African Stew.

I like how the rooms are sort of dim, adding a bit of romance and mystery. I like that you can get a king size bed and a couch in a stardview. I love the public viewing balconies that no one is ever on. You can go out and sit there for hours while reading a book and watching the animals.

Just to be fair - AKL is only my favorite by a small margin, I also love POR-Frech Quarte. I love the beignets and it is the best resort for taking a stroll.

We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas for our next trip - and I have high hopes that we'll have found Home.

My favorite resort is SSR. It's my favorite because it is home. I love the decor. I like being near DTD and they have the best quiet pools!!

I also love my king bed in my one bedroom, my jacuzzi tub and believe it or not the kitchen and washer and dryer. It's so nice not to pack a ton of clothes, just throw a load in before we head out the door and put them in the dryer when we return.

I also like not having to worry about housekeeping and having to be out of the room at a certain time so they can come in.

I love my balcony.

I love CBR for the relaxing atmosphere. It just seems so tranquil.
I love the bus service there much more than at the values.

At th Poly it is the music, the smell of the flowers and the tiki torches. Combines our 2 favorite places, Disney and Hawaii!

That being said we usually stay at the CBR (much more affordable). At the CBR it is the steel drum music and the beaches. The music always brings a smile to our faces and makes you want to dance to the food court
