My favorite OKW location

Just returned from OKW. We really enjoyed our villa location. I will now request Buildings 23-26. I like the location close to the main pool.

But the biggest advantage is with the buses. It is ideally situated near the first bus stop, and if you "miss it" when you are trying to go to the parks and see the bus going back towards HH, you can simply walk to the HH stop and catch the bus (it goes down Miller's Road prior to reaching HH). It REALLY can reduce the wait times for buses! :)

thanks for the info.. we leave in three days!

The only downside of this set of buildings is that they don't have the extra door to the master bathroom from the living area.

We have rented points/reservation for OKW for December and we are traveling with our 3 children (5,3 and 1st b-day @ WDW). Any suggestions as to where we should request to stay? It would be much easier for us to be near the bus stop, as well as food court...if there is one. We are staying in a studio. I have never been at OKW before and was also wondering how it is decorated for Christmas...anybody? Thanks. Ann

Unfortunately there isn't a food court at Old Key West, to me it's the one (only) downside of the resort. There's Goods to Go, but it's small and outdoors, not so much a problem in December, but in the hot weather, some air conditioning would really be nice. My favorite area is building #15, nicely positioned close to the main area, but far enough away to be very quiet. The only disadvantage with 3 kids is that it's not as close to a bus stop as some buildings.
