Just wanted to post real quick, then it is back to bedrest for me...THANK YOU so much Meriweather for the AWESOME package....i was laying in bed (as many of you know I just got out of the hospital and am on bedrest) and my daughter brought me the mail...low and behold was my package...it contained:

~a very cute minnie mouse bookmark
~3 yankee candles;peppermint cocoa, trick or treat, and autumn lodge(which was my favorite)(they all smell so much better than that hospital room!!)
~a bag of M&M's and a bag of skittles(I sent these in the "my favorite candy" exchange)
~a really cool wooden bookmark(not sure if that is what it really is, but that is what I am gonna use it for)--it is made of Oregon Myrtlewood
~another cool bookmark of Tipsoo Lake
~my very own personalized lime green DIS pin
~OH YEAH and my book...DESERT HEAT by J.A.Jance(who I have never heard of) but I am so excited to start reading it.

Again thank you so much the candles smell great!!!

Woo hoo! I received my package from jayna22 today! I got 2 books! I received Between Friends by Debbie Macomber and The Last to Know by Wendy Corsi Staub. I also received a really cute bookmark. I have never heard of either author but both books sound like something I will enjoy! I have to know though, did you pick The Last to Know from that author b/c the main character's name is also Tasha like mine or is that a coincidence? That was really cool to see! Thanks, jayna, I can't wait to start reading these! Now I have yet another excuse not to clean my house!

Hi everyone - Just posting to say that I got my package from UrsulasMyHero yesterday - it was a Vampire Hunter book by Amanda (someone) sorry I didn't bring the notecard with me to work! a very pretty beaded bookmark and a light up Tink Pen - Thanks so Much -- I love series style books and Horror is a fave of mine to read !!

Actually, it's Laurell K. Hamilton and it's the first book of the Anita Blake Series. You're going to love it! Her characters come alive!

Kim is a relatively new author, but I like her nearly as much as I do Laurell K. Hamilton. *grin* and she has a website that if you leave her a note, she'll respond to you.

No way, with the post office closed on Monday, I will have to wait at least until Tuesday for delivery. Dag nabit, the package only had to travel from Portland OR to WA. Not fair.

I just started reading that one tonight after dd went to sleep. I am an insomniac most nights so it gave me something to do. I am about halfway through it already and I really like it. But I have to say it is almost eerie with all of the similarities between the main character and me! First, we share the same name. Then, she has a son named Hunter. If dd had been a boy we were going to name him Hunter! She is a SAHM as am I! This one isn't related to the main character but it ties into the book. One of the characters in the book has a daughter named Schuyler. The first name we had planned to name dd was Skylar (same name, different spelling!) but we changed our minds. There are a few differences of course but I almost had this weird sense that this book was about my life and that the author must know me! Even though it was written way before I got preg. so there is no way she would have known our name choices! Talk about a million odd coincidences! I can totally relate to the fictional Tasha! But like I said I am really enjoying it so thanks again!

Morning everyone! All rested up from a day at the stadium. Carol's school band placed 3rd in their division, which if pretty good considering they are only 9th and 10th graders. All the other bands have all four grades. They were so excited!

I love to read books by Debbie Macomber!
