First of all: Thank-you to all who have posted here. I found many tips and advice that I have found very useful in planning our trip to WDW. :worship:

The cast:
Grasshopper- DH. He grew up with camping as a family vacation. (sigh- he just doesn't get Disney yet. Oh well- We have time to convert him!) ;)

Butterflyjo- me, the planning of all of our family's vacations and the Disney nut. This will be my 4th trip. Two times with family and once with the high school band. (Both times w/ family we stayed at Shades of Green and in HS we stayed off site).

Biscuit- our 10 month old son. He will be 13 months old when we go.

We are going to celebrate DH, DS first time, DS first b-day, and our 5th wedding anniversary.

We are staying at Caribbean Beach and got the last standard room! :woohoo:
We also got plane tickets and are using the Disney Magic Express.

I decided to take one of Biscuit's diaper box and start using that to put things in it for WDW. We officially started to shop today! :yay:

I made ADR (I'm guessing that means:advanced dinning reservation?) at several locations and got in the HOOP DEE DOO!!!
Our other locations are: Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, Shutter's at Old Port Royale, Biergarten, Rose & Crown Pub,

I'm planning on having Biscuits' first haircut done at MK. (Thanks all for sharing this tip). We have a 3 day park ticket and only doing AK, MK, and Epcot. Other than that we plan on just having fun.

P.S> thanks whomever posted to take disposable bibs- just where did you find yours?

If you have any other advice- I'll take it!!

Sounds like a super fun trip. We went with yds when he was a few weeks shy if 1 year. Such a great time, he loved it.
I got disposable bibs in babies R us, disposable table place mats for quick service places that might not be really clean. DS was really done with bibs by them unless it was a mickey bar:thumbsup2

I suggest making sure you have a comfy stroller with basket, cup holders and a good sun canopy as well as good sun block that you know works well for him(I had issue with sensativity with ods so it was trial and error.)

I am also staying at CBR, the week beforer you! I have to mention, I have not read good reviews about Shutters. We arent planning to eat there unless its a necessity. We dont do ADR for each night/day.
So exciting, hope planning is a lot of fun.

Thanks for the reply!
We have a Babies R Us near us and I'll go check it out!
We'll we both have been mulling about Hoop Dee Doo. I went when I was younger- and with Biscuit- it would be too much for him. So we cancelled. We are going to go check out Trails End. That looks like more of our speed anyways.

I rented a stroller from Orlando Strollers- How can anyone miss them?;)

I checked out Shutters- the only restaurant I didn't check out on here! (Silly me!) Yep- cancelled that one too- After a long day just using the Grab-n Go market would be best.
Yep, after all the planning, I didn't check out Shutters the one place that didn't have his food tastes!!:lmao:
