My family needs prayers, please! Sad update on post 32

I know how important the value of prayer is, and is especially powerful on these boards. You've all helped others with your support, as I have too, with no thought that I'd need this but now I'm asking for your help too. My brother is currently on life support fighting for his life. Late Friday he started to feel strange and by Saturday he was the sickest patient in the ICU. He has a flesh-eating infection and is right now in surgery again to remove more dead and infected tissue. He is receiving the very best care and I have every confidence in the medical team, no problem there.

But right now we need all the spiritual help we can get. I'd like to ask for what anyone has to offer, be it prayers, good thoughts, pixie dust, whatever you can. He has two great kids who we are looking after now, and my Mom. His wife is at the ICU and is sending back updates. We'll head back there when he gets back from this surgery. DH and I are being outwardly strong for them but as this goes on and isn't resolving well it's becoming tougher.

We've been told that if he can get through the next week or two his chance of a good outcome is high, but the chance of him surviving the next couple of days is slim right now.
