My family is O.K.!

My brother who lives her in Chicago was able to finally get thru ti Ft Myers...some roof damage and water, but they are doing allright. Said the pressure in the house was unbelievable....my folks will try to get home to Naples tomorrow and assess any damage to their place. Keeeping my fingers crossed and prayers for everyone else and their loved ones in the path of this horrible storm. Thank you all for the hugs and prayers!

I talked to my Uncle who, with my Aunt and cousins, is visiting my Gram in Ft Myers. Everything is fine and I am SO glad they were there. They don't have any power, but minimal damage. They said a neighbor lost part of a fence but the neighborhood looked ok, just messy. My darling Gram is wonderful, but VERY stubborn. Last time they had one, Floyd I think, she was hoisting the couch onto the dining room table by herself! She is a robust 86 but I am glad my DU and DA were with her.

Isn't weather technology amazing?! Imagine how many lives were saved because people new days ahead of time this storm was headed toward them.
