The castmembers are myself 39, my husband 45, from Michigan.
I'm unable to do a day by day report, so I'm just gonna
jumble it all together.
We stayed at POFQ 10/29-11/6.(Room 4141) I'm so glad we
decided to stay here, but I do wish they would re open their
sit down restaurant.
We met alot of lovely people, and yes many were from Jersey.
We went to MNSSHP on October 29, got in at 4pm, it was very
hot, as it was most of the week (I am not complaining)
The party was alot of fun as usual.
We had 3 non park days on our 8 night stay, we saw the Incredible on our last stay at downtown disney, this is gonna
be a big hit for Disney. It was very good, for adults and kids.
We spent alot of time at the pool and the hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised by the pool, it was larger that it looks in
the brochures. I think they should add another hot tub.
We bought 2 vacation kingdom lunch vouchers, and had a
wonderful lunch at the Concourse Steak House, our meal was
118.00, we used vouchers we paid 60.00 for, that by far was
our best savings.
We also had several quick and casual vouchers, saving from 3-8 dollars with those, except for Beaches and Cream, that was another big savings. Beaches and Cream changed their Prime
Rib Sandwich to a Roast Beef sandwich, which was not nearly as
good, but the deserts made up for it. I had a Milky Way sundae, and my DH had a No Way Jose, WOW they were soooo good!
We also made it to Bomas for their wonderful dinner buffet, all
the they deserts were incredible, the Zebra Domes lived up to
all they hype!
We got into Stitch during MNSSHP, it was OK. I would not wait
in a long line to see it.
We ate way to much at the F&W festival. Greece and Canada were our favorites. Canada had the best Maple Fudge ever( If you haven't been able to tell by now I have an incredible sweet tooth) . We also attended a wine seminar, and watched some
of the Blake Shelton concert. We managed to see Illuminations
and Wishes. I got us a very good seat atop the train station terminal, we even had a table, it doesn't get much better than that.
We enjoyed all the parks, and we love coming to Disney this time of the year. November 1 Christmas decorations, that was quite a surprise, and a bit too early.
We met several very nice Diser's throughout our stay.
Sorry this report is so scattered, but I just don't have the time to
do it they way I would like to.
I have been a travel agent for 14 years, and me and my husband
love coming to Disney Oct/Nov, my friends and co-workers just don't get it, But I'm working on them. As much as I love to travel, it's nice to get home, we miss our dog very much. Now I have to work on loosing the 5 pounds I gained (Back to reality)
