My eyes just about popped out of my head!

On the way to lunch today, DH and I saw a guy standing at a major intersection with a sign that read;

Homeless, Horny and Hungry!

I had to look twice, because I couldn't believe he actually put horny on the sign, LOL!

You gotta appreciate the guy's honesty, but come on! Who in their right mind is going to help this guy out with that kind of sign?

If he didn't look like a homeless person (dirty clothes, long beard, uncombed hair, etc.) I'd have thought it was a prank!

Hey, it got you to at least look at the sign -- 99% of the time, I barely notice people on the side of the road with signs.

When we first moved here 11 years ago, you'd never see a homeless person with a sign, anywhere! Now they are at just about every major intersection.

I remember once in a grocery store parking lot this woman approached me and asked for change so she could buy a bus ticket to go back home Dallas.

I gave her the only change I had, which was 50 cents.

A year later, she was still using the same line because she got me again! I guess she hadn't collected enough change yet for the bus fare!

OK now that is funny!!!! That sign is great!! I work with the homeless and have for four years. THe only sign I have seen that is just as good is " I gotta be honest..I need a beer!!" Originality is great and it made you notice and remember the sign.. As for what a homeless person looks like.......many of my clients you would not know were homeless because they go to drop in centers or to shelters where they can shower and get clean clothes!! No matter what the sign says do not let it fool you. Not every person who holds a sign that says they are homeless and look the part really are homeless. Many just play the part for extra money.

I have seen a "career beggar" every day on the way home, at the same spot for years and years. His sign says "Feeding 3, Please Help. God Bless." I guess people give him stuff or else he still wouldnt be there!

He probably lives in a condo and drives a Porsche!

"Dreaming of a Big Mac and Fries"

I kid you not. John said well at least he didn't ask for it to be biggie sized.
