My DD goes to school with two of her cousins on my ex's side. Apparently yesterday one of them told her that her dad was in town. How nice of him to call her! What a ****ing ******* is all I have to say to him. The *** hole hasn't called her since she came home in July. Now he's in town and hasn't come to see her or even called her!

It woudln't be so bad if she didn't know he was here, but for crying out loud, he knows they go to school together. What a ****ing, *******, ******* mother ****er.

Vent over!

{{HUGS}} to you and your DD.
it is things like this that make me glad my DS biological father wants nothing to do with him. sad but true. i would rather he not be here then break his heart.

take you DD out and do something nice for her.

Yes, lots of asterisks there.

I used to get a call from my grandmother. "Your father's here this week..."

:(

I intensly dislike men like that. I'm so sorry you have to deal with it.

That stinks Jules...I'm sorry that your little girl has to know what an ..... what a bad guy her dad is.

Jules, I'm sorry. My ex is not around (by my choice) for this very reason - I didn't want to see my sons' hearts breaking every time they didn't get to see him when they should have.

He's not thinking that when he's old and decrepit, your DD will be the one deciding whether or not to yank the plug! :o

It does come back around at them. My kids now choose not to see their dad and he has asked.

Cookie, my MIL has a little sign that says "Be nice to your kids, they're the ones who choose your nursing home."

Well...mine skipped the state - just up and left. Didn't bother to call me and tell me like he told everyone he did, did ask dd what she thought of him moving to another state to get a job and she was like - I don't care. (Good for her!!! Like what is she suppose to say - you don't care what I think so I think you need to stay here....HELLO idiot!!!!!!) UGH

Sorry your dd is having to deal with this...what a jerk is beyond the right word!!!!!!

Jules, we might not see eye to eye on most things but I really am sorry this happened to your daughter. She deserves better than that.

i feel horrible for your daughter. what a horrible thing for him to do.

Well I feel for your dd. DH and I are in our late 30's and STILL get this stuff from his DAD. Its sickening. And they want the right of dad/grandpa...give me a break.

I'm in the same boat Jules except I'M THE DAUGHTER. My father came to town, called me from a payphone saying I'm at a hotel on ******* road. Like I can telepathically get his room and phone #. Have no idea where he is. UGH. Then calls me from a friend's house and tells me to call there saying he's called three times already. WELL IF YOU DON'T LEAVE A $^^^^))&()#)@) message with your hotel number how am I to get in touch???? Well by the time I got the message it was late. Couldn't wake up strangers so I wait the next day. Still no messages or calls. Whatever. This nonsense has been going on 15 years. I'm 30 now and it NEVER ENDS. Can't be bothered to give me a day or two notice when he wants to get together but expects me to jump when he is around. GRRRR. Geez if he can't even take 5 minutes to give me a proper phone number then I give up! :(

I'm sorry Jules :(
What a jerk. It is a good thing she has you.
