Was wondering if I could get some advice. Will be going to Epcot in the morning and then later on going to Animal Kingdom in the same day in early January. I am planning to rope drop FEA and then was wondering which of the following I should do for getting a Fast Pass that day.

1) rope drop FEA, then standby for Test Track, and then use a Fast Pass for Soaring at 10:30
OR
2) rope drop FEA, standby for Soaring, then use a Fast Pass for Test Track at 10:30.

Basically my question is, should I get a fast pass for TT or Soaring. Ideally, I'd like to get FEA and either Soaring/TT done before 10:30 which I would get a fast pass for the other ride. If I did FEA at rope drop, what would be the TT and Soaring wait times after finishing rope drop FEA?

After looking at the map, I saw that Soaring is the furthest away while FEA and TT are sort of on the same side.

My plans are the same as yours. I will be there in March but it made me wonder ... if everyone does rope drop FEA will not it be crowded in seconds as soon as I open it?

It all depends. If you are able to FP FEA at your 60 day window then do it. I was on at 7am, booked Epcot in the middle of my trip and it was the first day I booked. I was only able to get a 3:30 return time. I took it. I'll do Soarin and rope drop, then stand by for TT. I assume that this plan will take me until lunch (12:40 Teppan Edo) with maybe time for Spaceship Earth. I am going 12/6

Since FEA FP will be unlikely to get at this point, especially in the a.m. as PP mentioned, Rope Drop will be your best option. Get FP for Soarin, as TT has single rider option if standby line is long(if you don't have small children and can take advantage of it).

It is still worth trying for the FP at 60 days, rather than the mad rush there at Rope Drop, where there will still be a wait as you mentioned, with crowds heading there and PPO brft. at Akershus. It is still going to be the shortest wait of the day in most cases, so best case scenario if you can't get a FP for the timing you need.

so I'm wondering if I do rope drop FEA, usually how long does the line take?

By the time I get done with rope drop FEA, would you think that the TT or Soaring standby line would be longer? Looks like Soaring is located farthere away from FEA (Norway).

Thanks!
