My electric bill came down - How about yours?

My bill this month was $118 less than last month!!! I am ecstatic I recommend that anyone who is concerned about their energy bill have their a/c system checked for the fall. While my husband was checking our a/c and water heater in the attic, he noticed a little daylight coming in from the roof, so he called out the homebuilder and they patched it up. Don't know if this made a huge impact, but I wish we had noticed it before the summer heated up.

We're just now enjoying below 80's temps so I'm looking forward to even a lower bill in November!!

Anyone else getting a reprieve from high energy costs??

Mine should be dropping too. Enjoying temps low enough that the ac isn't constantly running.

Mine dropped about 100 also. I just love this time of year - don't have to run either the AC or heat.

Ours went up this month We had water in our basement 2 weeks ago as a result of all the rain in the Northeast so we were running the dehumidifier and the wet vac constantly for 3 days....hopefully we'll be back to normal or even lower next month

Ours went down about $100 also. I read an article in a magazine about lowering the temperature in your refrigerator and freeze for substantial savings. Since I have two I thought it was worth a try and by golly it seems to have made a difference.

Our's was $180.00 and I have no idea why it was more than in the summer months when we had the AC on constantly.

To sum it up:
August - $380
Sept - $250 (after August, we turned the air from 77 to 79-80)
Oct - $140 (cooler temps and we were at WDW for 9 days )
I, too, love this time of year, no A/C and no heat.
