My DH doesn't do holidays. I don't get flowers & candy anymore.

BUT....

Today he came home with a Cricut for me.

Guess what I'm using on my Disney Recipe Swaps?

They were from George. The fondue recipe had flower with and without silhouette feature. The lasagna recipe had flower2 (the shift of flower) and silhouette feature, then I zig glued the silhouette over the solid. The ladybug is from doodlecharms, and the heart bag is from tags, bags, boxes...

hehehe...and I have found out that you can silhouette the rectangle and use it for fames...

OOH!! I have to wait for my Valentine's day gift.. with this weather we are under a sn** emergency.(whew, I caught my dirty word before anyone else). so no goodies for me.. But that is okay.. we have another sn** day tomorrow with NO SCHOOL!!! So, we are going to enjoy the day, make cookies and than do some scrapbooking.. we are going to scrapbook the kids' valentines days from when they started school.. I have an idea.. now we are hoping it's going to work... (keep your fingers crossed)

We haven't heard about school for tomorrow here yet. But DH was pretty sure it would get worse before better, so he went to the store today on the way home to pick up my present.

So, what is the idea? Tell, or I guess I should wait until tomorrow so you can show me.

Have fun. We made cinnamon rolls today and probably muffins tomorrow.

Well, if my dogs slip off the deck on the ice in the morning, I don't care if they cancel school or not...ya know? I have to travel over a bridge over the C&D Canal...nope not with ice on that bridge...

I'm planning a swapy/scrappy day tomorrow... Then making Lover's Lasagna for dinner, and got mini eclairs and cheesecake for dessert. YUMM-O...

I got DH a card, but have not a clue what to buy him... He hasn't given me any ideas at all...

Congrats on the cricut! When that Disney cartridge comes out you guys are going to have to be prepared for orders.

Our Valentine's Day plans are simply dinner at Cheesecake Factory. We aren't doing gifts because of our cruise. The good news there, is that when we did final payment on Friday it was $1500 cheaper than when we booked. So now we have a little "play" money again (which means I can use my 40% coupons). And we booked our Palo ressies and shore excursion on Saturday. We leave 3 months from yesterday.

I would give back my Cricut in a heart beat for just a chance at a cruise. I am so jealous. But you will take photos and scrap them and than share with us, right? So if I look at them long enough, do you think I can take a virtual cruise with them?

I want to use a 12x12 sheet of white..and cut a big heart out to attach..and than w/ vellum make pockets to hold their cards from their classmates...
Than the next one I want to try doing a patchwork of file folder pockets w/ the cards coming out of them...

I need to finish my Morocco swap items first.. I'm just totally hating the whole set right now.. so that is priority one after working w/ the kiddos!!!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! DH & I are going to wait and celebrate this wknd, since I get to go to a District Tournament basketball game tomorrow night. Our boys' team lost tonight, so they're done. Keeping fingers crossed that the girls lose tomorrow (awful, I know)!

Boy I'm jealous. I looked at it Saturday I was drooling in Michaels. The more scrapping I do, the more I want! I don't have anything fancy for recipe cards which I need to start!

I dont' have to go to work today due to "extreme weather conditions". I'm as happy as I was when I was a kid and got a sn** (I almost slipped with the **) day! Yesterday the campus closed at 1 pm when we should have been closed all day! I had already told the students that work for me to either go or home or not come in anyway.

I'm not sure what Michaels price is, my DH got mine at Wal-mart. He did extensive research (he is just that way) on line and in the box stores to find the best price. JoAnns has theirs for $229 with free shipping on line. He got mine for $194.
