my DVC confirmation not being recognized by online dining?

I'm practicing for tomorrow mornings adr attempts. When I put in my DVC confirmation number, it says that it is unable to retrieve it and to contact member services. Is this because my 90 days does not start until tomorrow or is this a real problem ?
 
Go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/restaurants/ and select the restaurant you want to reserve - when thatpage comes up select "Retrieve Your Reservation" (enter the DVC confirmation number. last name, arrival date and resort). You should then be able to access your DVC reservation and make ADRs for the arrival day +10 days of your reservation.

I used this method and was able to pullup my DVC reservation for 12/5-11. I was "practicing" today too!
 
The method Doc suggested is the only way I have found it will work for DVC reservations.

Also after I booked I was not able to go back and retrieve my list.

In other words the system still stinks. :headache:

Well , I checked my confirmation letter carefully and I found out the reason it would not retrieve my room reservation was that Disney had inserted a space between two parts of my last name. We don't put the space in , but when I typed it their way I got in.

But now that I have my ADR's made , the system won't retrieve them .I get an error code E02020217100. Anyone know what it means ??

Reservations for the Candelight Processional Package can only be done over the phone. I spent 53 minutes on hold at 7:04 this morning to get ours for 12/7.

I also had a problem with the online system recognizing my DVC reservation number when I was "practicing" at 91 days prior. Called member services and they said it will be recognized at the 90-day point. But I have read of a number of folks who have been able to pull the res up prior to the 90- day mark. UGH......

Anyway, eventuall got what I wanted, although unable to get Boma for 12/5, had to settle for 12/6.

I had the same problem and was told it was because I was before my 90 day window. However, I went on the morning of my 90 days out and it was still unable to find my reservation #. When I called they told me it seemed to be a DVC issue. I think I would have been hesitant to just trust the system without speaking to a member anyway because it is so new still and there are bound to be glitches left to iron out. I've heard some people say they booked online and showed up for their reservation and the host/hostess was unable to find their reservation. :confused3

I don't know what the error code means, but I got it, too.

I could retrieve the reservations I made - one at a time, but the multiple reservations did not work. Also could not retrieve the confirmations made by phone.
 
by any chance are those that are having a problem staying at BLT? I have read from several posters that BLT is not being recognized by the system online and the only way to get reservations is by calling on phone. They said disney is aware of the problem and trying to work it out. I guess they said it is so new that the system has not been updated yet and won't recognize reservation because it doesn't recognize it as a disney resort in the system.

Otherwise it should work. We are staying at AKV starting Dec 17th and it will retrieve my reservation without problem but can't book yet because I am outside of 90 days still.
 
I'm staying at SSR 1/1-1/5 and the Disney site with Dining reservations and such does not recognize my reservation. The MyDisneyReservation.com/DVC can find it but the other site does not. Has anyone else had this problem. I'm guessing it is because I'm not in the 90 day window but it is making me nervous not knowing if it will pull up my reservation on the day I need to book dining.
 
Debby7, the ADR online reservation system has just plain been fritzy the last few days, and lots of people are getting that error message. Just check out some of the posts on the Disney Restaurant boards. It helps to close and reopen your brower, or sometimes to reboot the computer. It generally comes around after a bit.

Mommy In Wonderland, it should still pull up your reservation even if you're outside the 90 day window. We traded into a DVC property using RCI points, and I was able to pull up my reservation on the ADR site even though it was before my 90 day window.
 
I'm a few days before my 90 day window but the system isn't recognizing my DVC ressie. It sounds like some have had success in getting the online system to recognize their ressie before the 90 day. I'm really hoping to use the online ADR system when I can book in 4 days. Does anyone know if calling DVC now will make a difference in making sure the system will recognize my ressie when my 90 days hits? :confused3
 
I also received the error code mentioned above...just made my candelight processional ressie over the phone, but the online system doesn't recognize it. All of my other "regular" ressies can be retrieved online, though...

...must be a CP glitch in the system.
 
:scared: I am totally have ADR online nightmares and I can't make my reservations for another 7 months. :laughing:
