I just got a phone message from my DS -- he's home after spending all night at Disneyland. His voice was all croaky (heh heh)... He said Rockit Mountain was great, dancing was a lot of fun, and that Disneyland was fun. :cool1: Then he said he was going to take a nap. :teeth:

I guess I'll hear the details later. :goodvibes

What a coincidence. When I was cleaning on Wednesday, I found my grad night pictures from Disneyland. My kids couldn't believe they had color film back then.

And this is for Nick's graduation. :cheer2:

I can't beleive he is a graduate!
Of course what I really can't beleive is the dress code they get away with theese days! We had to dress to the nines in the 70's!

when i went ( 1979) the girls had to either be in a skirt/dress or a pantsuit ( same fabric for jacket and pants....long sleeves and collar ) boys had to be in at least sport coats with collar shirts and dress slacks......My best memory is this was the first night I rode Space Mountain!

cool:) i was just like curious cause my cousin is graduating on June 8th and she is going to Grad Night... do they let like homeschool graduates go to Grad Nights? Im a Junior in High School and i am HomeSchooled... Just another thought:)

Do you belong to a Homeschool group? If so check with them they may get go to this. In general you can't just buy a ticket to go on your own, you need to do it through a school.

Howard was at gradnight last night (and the week before, and next week) only he didn't get to play, he was working. He got in asour daughter and I were leaving for school and work this morning slept all day, and got up when we got home, at 4 got dressed and went back to work.

Even though he's tired, he likes working grad nights (which is funny cause that is usually the one job most don't want to do)

Nick had a great time! He said that they wandered around, got a bite (or two) to eat, went on Rock-It Mountain, and they danced at Rancho del Zocalo. He said that he was on the dance floor and saw two friends from elementary school who go to two other different schools now :) He said that Rock-it Mountain had graphics of people dancing on the walls instead of the stars and planets that we see when we go on the attraction.

Their dress code was jeans & casual wear -- very different from when I went in '78 when we had to get all dressed up. I kept asking him, "are you SURE you can go like that?"

Well we do belong to a HomeSchool Group.. but i highly doubt they do Grad Night... At my church, there is another (now we are Juniors in HS) person in our very small homeschool group that is my age, but she an i are the only 2 who are in High School and the group, and we are both Juniors... Does it have to be a certain ammount of ppl in the group to atttend Grad Night??
I was thinking that it would be fun to go... can families of the grads go into the park as well? We live in AZ so we dont have much exciting things to do around here :rolleyes1 lol

:)
