My ds just called me from the MK!

My ds, a college senior, is on Spring break this week. He and three friends went to Tampa because one of his room mates parents have a condo on the beach in Tampa. Well I tried to talk him into going over to Disney and he kept saying, no I don't think so.

Imagine my surprise today when he calls and tells me he's at the TTC on his way over to the MK. Of course he's exactly the opposite of my - didn't get there until 10:30, no ADRs, just flying by the seat of their pants! Still they are at the MK, and I'm so excited for him. I can't wait until I hear all about it. I had to tell someone who would understand, everyone else was like, that's nice.

Hey that is awesome , my son went there for senior week in highschool, he called me all the time. Now he is actually doing the college program from this jan until aug. He works space mountain. He calls me all the time to so i can hear the fireworks, or if he is on the monorail, and i love to hear the train whistle go!!
That is great he went. See we bought them up right!!

That's really great. You can never or should never outgrow the magic of WDW. I'm 25 and planning my first trip, and have to admit I feel like a kid again.

I remember calling my Mom from the phone in England at Epcot on new year's eve one year she didn't know we were there.

He really is a great kid. Now he's tormenting us. He called again to tell us he was in line for the teacups and that he had done the Triple Mountains and tons of other stuff. He holds the phone up so we can hear the sounds of the MK. He really deserves a good spring break as he's been working like crazy between school, law school applications and his part time job.
