Just wanted to give another view....We have been going to Disney since my twin girls were 26 months and they just turned 6 last week. When we first started going, we brought our double preg side by side and also once brought our mountain buggy. Then we decided to make the maclaren purchase from all the recommendations on this board. We bought two single maclarens and never turned back.
1. the purchase was well worth it. We have used it at the zoo, airports, disney and
disney cruise. Also great if you ever do one on one time with the kids.
2. we bought the the connectors for them just in case one of us had to be alone. Easily connects the two strollers in seconds and works the same.
3. yes, you lose storage space, but if you plan on leaving in the afternoon for naps, then you really only need a backpack with morning essentials. We would take only that bag with us anyway even if we had the double. It will sit on the back of a maclarens as long as the child is in it.
4. I agree with porevious post, dont go with a cheap umbrella, they will kill your back. The maclaren has high handles so no leaning and the weight capacity is very high...something like 65lbs...not sure though. The maclaren is also VERY light.
5. the maclaren also has a strap to hold it on your shoulder when it is folded.
We used them every time until we had our third and now we needed another option, so the baby has a stroller and we bring 1 maclaren and they share it and sometimes sit on each other...

! I refuse to bring a double and single with me
you make the best decision for your needs, but wanted to give you another thought on it! Have a great time....of course you will
