My dog just had a seizure!

I haven't read all the responses in the thread yet, but I just wanted to give my input. My aunt has a golden retriever who used to take seizures constantly. They were scary. They had the vet examine him and did the blood work and everything and you know what the problem was?? Table food. Something in having dinner scraps or whatever was triggering seizures in this poor dog. Now he only eats dog food/treats and hasn't had a seizure in over a year!

This is exactly why we have never given our dog people food. That and we don't want her begging at the table when we are eating. The only time she gets people food is if we drop it and she gets to it before we do.

To update everyone - my dog has been fine so far today, just tired. She issn't quite as hyper as usual, and has slept a lot. Thanks for all your advice and well wishes. :goodvibes
