My Disney Woes...

We live close enough that we can go often. Some years back, we went at least once a month. But with the increase in our family, and the increase in the Disney prices, it's far to expensive for a family of five so we have basically stopped going. We turned our attention to Universal. It's not Disney but it doesn't proclaim to be. It's smaller and we don't feel the need to be rushed. If you get their early enough, or stay at one of their hotels to get express pass, there are no lines to speak of. It has now become our go to place to escape the realities of our day to day lives. Will we visit Disney again? Sure. But do we long to go, not as much now. Due to the changes that Disney has put into place, there is not the attraction to it that their once was for my family. They've changed and so have we and it's nice--no pressure any more.
