My Disney Store doesn't carry Deluxe AP's-where to buy today???

So if I buy them online 1) can I use my Disney visa rewards + my credit card and 2) are they vouchers that are activated when first used or is today the activation date??? We aren't going until October but I've been saving forever for these!!

If this doesn't work can I call Disney directly to buy them?

Update!!!!! I am beyond fuming right now!!!! I tried to buy the passes online but there is no where to put the VISA rewards card # so I called Disneyland ticketing and she said the same thing- that you can only use your Rewards towards tickets at the park!!!

I've got $450 towards our annual passes that I've been saving for a year now and I can't use them without paying the extra $200 when we get there in October!!!

Got it Dreams! Just got so overwhelmed that I was posting all over the place

So here's my update to anyone who hasn't read the ticket increase thread.

OMG!! I am dancing around right now!! I called back to see if they would accept Disney gift cards for payment to APs. The young man I talked to said, of course.... let me transfer you to the AP center so you can make your purchase.

I wasn't actually ready to purchase them yet since I still had to go down to the Disney store and buy the gift cards with my Rewards Visa $$. But I said okay figuring I would double check with the next CM that came on the line. So she came on and I asked if I could buy Deluxe APs with my Rewards Visa and she said, of course!!! I almost jumped for joy right there!!

The first CM I talked to this morning must not have known what she was talking about. Then again she didn't work in the AP center either so she probably just didn't know.

I got off the phone and did a little WHOOP! And screamed and danced! I was so excited. The transaction went thru flawlessly and it worked out just the way I wanted it to all these months of saving!!

The lesson here is to try and try again because sometimes you may get wrong information.

And as for helping others, the most important part is to speak with someone in the AP Center, not the operator or City Hall. The AP Center CMs know the rules and the cans and can'ts. That's their area.
