Can someone help me decide if this plan is okay?
We have Hopper btw!

Day 1 (Friday 05 August)
Arrive around 12 pm, go to Disney Springs, then come back to Poly and do do Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Maybe watch Wishes from the beach.

Day 2 (Saturday 06 August)
Do a whole Magic Kingdom day! From 9 am to 10 pm

Day 3 (Sunday 07 August)

8 am Do Extra Magic Hours at Hollywood Studios
10 am - 3 pm Blizzard Beach
3 pm - 10 pm Hollywood Studios (Do the Fantasmic! Package at Mama Melrose)

Day 4 (Monday 08 August)
8 am - 5 pm Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom (that's what the park hours says, but not sure if they will really close the park that early, considering they will now have Rivers of Lights)
5 pm - 10 pm Rest of the night at Magic Kingdom until 10 pm

Day 5 (Tuesday 09 August)

Islands of Adventure + Universal Studios

Day 6 (Wednesday 10 August)

Last park day!
10 am - 2 pm Typhoon Lagoon
2 pm - 8 pm Epcot
8 pm - 12 am Magic Kingdom EMH

Day 7 (Thursday 11 August)
We leave to the airport around 3 pm so we'll stay at the Poly all day, have a day at the pool and enjoy the resort!

Any thoughts? Suggestions?
Thanks

Sounds like fun. Unless you are really into water parks, I'd probably only got o one of them. Consider that the revamped Soarin' might be open by August and you might need more Epcot time. Also, tackling bots US and IoA in one day could be tight, though I think on a weekday at that time of year it is doable, but you'll be rushing through it, especially if you are Potter fans.

Yes I really am into parks! I absolutely love them! I was planning on getting a FP+ for Soarin, but do you think it will still be really bad?
Ahh I also hate having to do both IoA and US in one day but I don't have any other option :( Id rather be at Disney the rest of the days! Do you have any suggestion on what to do first? IoA or US? I like Potter but im not a huge fan :) But I do love Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and that usually takes a lot of time in the line :( \

Does anyone know how bad is August in terms of crowds? When do schools normally start? im not from the US

Hey, if you're a big water park fan then go for it. As for Uni, I would start with US first since they have more new stuff there. Go check out Diagon Alley then take the Hogswart Express over to the Hogsmeade area. You can move through IoA pretty quick in my opinion.

You probably don't need the full day at AK unless you really like that park, especially if you get there when they open at 8 a.m. Rivers of Light, assuming it's going, will be nice to see, but I wouldn't be able to stay at the park the entire time.

I think you're going to be exhausted!

How do you plan to do water parks and parks in that time frame? Will you change into/out of swimsuit at the park? You'll need to figure in at least an hour travel time between parks. It may not take that long, but it's better to plan for it and not need it than the other way around.

It will be VERY HOT and HUMID. Are you prepared for that? There will also probably be a thunderstorm some time during the afternoon/evening, so be ready for that.

Schools are not back in session in the U.S. for the week you are going, so expect crowds to still be very high.

You are right. I think Ill do the EMH of AK from 8 - 9:30 am, then go to Typhoon Lagoon from 10 to lets say 3 pm and then Animal Kingdom, and stay until the park closes so I can watch Rivers of Light n do kilimanjaro during the evening.

Yeah I think you might be right. Ive changed the schedule a bit. I need to put water parks n a park together as I don't have time to do a day for each, however you're right i need to think it will take me to get there 30 min- 1 hour. (bus waiting times + entrance + walking etc)

Ahh man I was hoping schools had started :(

Im thinking the last day I should do just Epcot from 9 am to 3 pm or so and then go back to Magic until it closes at 12 am? Instead of doing Typhoon that day which 3 parks in a day would be really exhausting! What do you think?

As suggested build one hour for each trip between parks as many people underestimate the time walking into and out of a park, plus waiting for bus, and travel time (by bus or car). Personally for me visiting two parks and one water park in the same 8am to 10p today wastes too much park hours - 2-3 hrs. Plus 1 hr at start and end of day will make those long days with plenty of time not enjoying a park, but traveling. If you party includes kids, the time, crowds, lines and exhaustion - plus to heat and humidity - will really impact your experience especially after a few days.

They sound like very long days. On Sunday especially. you are planning on spending 10-3 at a Blizzard Beach; this the hottest time of the day. I suspect you will be exhausted from the water park and may not be up to being at HS from 3-10pm. at the very least you should go back to your resort after BB take a nap, rest, then head to HS in the early evening hours for dinner and Fantasmic.

You guys are right. It looks like im gonna have to reschedule it. At least theres not that much to do at HS, apart from ToT, Rock n roller, Star Wars and Fantasmic. Maybe resting won't be such a bad idea, specially considering all the heat.
Thank you all!

Based on your first day plans, it sounds like you might be staying at the Poly. If that is the case, I would definitely plan a few hours in the middle of the day to rest and enjoy the resort. The main reason we stay in a deluxe resort is to spend some time relaxing, especially during the hottest times of the day.

Regardless of that, I think you definitely want to plan more time for travel and breaks. You will need a vacation after your vacation at the pace you have set. :)

Haha you're right! Im definitely needing a vacation after my vacation, considering that will be my last days after a whole week at NYC + 4 days at the Dream!!
Yeah, Im staying at the Poly.
I was planning on having "hotel days" on day 1, when we first get there. Before Disney Spring and after the Luau, well have all night to spend it in the pool.
As well as our last day, we will leave to the airport in the afternoon so will be at the Poly all morning enjoying the pool!

Ive changed my plan to this one:

Day 1 (Friday 05 August)

3 pm - 6 pm Disney Springs

8:15 pm Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

Day 2 (Saturday 06 August)

9 am - 10 pm Magic Kingdom *with some time during the afternoon to rest at the Poly.

Breakfast: 7:30 am Kona Cafe

Dinner: 7 pm Be Our Guest

Day 3 (Sunday 07 August)

10 am - 2:30 pm Blizzard Beach

3:30 pm - 10 pm Hollywood Studios

Late Lunch: 4 pm Mama Melrose Fantasmic! Package

9 pm Fantasmic!

Day 4 (Monday 08 August)

8 am - 10 am Animal Kingdom

10 am - 3 pm Typhoon Lagoon

4 pm - 8 pm Animal Kingdom + (Rivers of Light)

Either Lunch or Dinner @ Tusker House. Im guessing they'll open dinner reservations as AK will now close later.

Day 5 (Tuesday 09 August)

7:30 am Chef Mickey

9 am - 2 pm Universal Studios

2 pm - 7 pm Island of Adventures

Day 6 (Wednesday 10 August)

9 am - 1 pm Epcot

2 pm - 4 pm Polynesian *resting time!

4 pm - 12 am Magic Kingdom

Breakfast: Sunshine Seasons Food Court

Dinner: 8 pm Crystal Palace

Day 7 (Thursday 11 August)

Polynesian Village Resort

Breakfast: 9 am Ohana

If were not tired, we might to EMH on the mornings. But we might be extra tired cos we plan on staying until each park closes every night :)

Day 1 (Friday 05 August)
3 pm - 6 pm Disney Springs
8:15 pm Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show

*I would skip Disney Springs and just stay and enjoy resort, rest up, get to bed early for the rest of your exhausting week. :)

Day 2 (Saturday 06 August)
9 am - 10 pm Magic Kingdom *with some time during the afternoon to rest at the Poly.
Breakfast: 7:30 am Kona Cafe
Dinner: 7 pm Be Our Guest

*Make sure to plan on 3-4 hours of rest. Any less then it feels like you're just getting to resort, resting for a few, then getting ready to head back out.

Day 3 (Sunday 07 August)

10 am - 2:30 pm Blizzard Beach
3:30 pm - 10 pm Hollywood Studios
Late Lunch: 4 pm Mama Melrose Fantasmic! Package
9 pm Fantasmic!

Day 4 (Monday 08 August)
8 am - 10 am Animal Kingdom
10 am - 3 pm Typhoon Lagoon
4 pm - 8 pm Animal Kingdom + (Rivers of Light)

*What about having one day that's a water park and staying long instead of split trips on 2 days. Seems like extra travel not needed.

Either Lunch or Dinner @ Tusker House. Im guessing they'll open dinner reservations as AK will now close later.

Day 5 (Tuesday 09 August)

7:30 am Chef Mickey
9 am - 2 pm Universal Studios

I most definitely WOULD NOT waste this kind of time on breakfast when you only have 1 day for US/IOA. Grab and go type breakfast makes more sense, imo. Often character meals can take 1.5 hours. Any way to add a 2nd day for Universal? You've been before or no? Are you getting the Express pass thing? without it, you're in for long lines. Not sure If you have that app for your phone that show wait times, but you could start looking now and see how long they are. I think you'll need more time there. Or just get the pass then no lines. :)

Day 6 (Wednesday 10 August)

9 am - 1 pm Epcot
2 pm - 4 pm Polynesian *resting time!
4 pm - 12 am Magic Kingdom
Breakfast: Sunshine Seasons Food Court
Dinner: 8 pm Crystal Palace
*Plan more than 2 hours total for your rest. Travel time plus REAL rest will take closer to 4, imo.

Day 7 (Thursday 11 August)

Polynesian Village Resort

Breakfast: 9 am Ohana

If were not tired, we might to EMH on the mornings. But we might be extra tired cos we plan on staying until each park closes every night :)
