I am new to this, so please bear with me. :confused3

I need info on the "My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea Party." Is this new? I would like to hear back from someone who has done it. It seems awfully expensive, is it worth it? My daughter is 9 and she indicated that she would still be seen with her mom for tea. She also still loves the Princesses, being a "Queen" herself!!!!!!! But my husband will probably have a heart attack when he pays the $200 bill!!!!!!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

DD4 and I went in August and it was wonderful. The $200 was money well spent. We had a great time. Rose Petal, the hostess is great. So is the rest of the staff at the Gardenview Lounge. The food and service were excellent. All the girls really enjoyed themselves. The doll isn't all that great, her hair is kind of nappy, but we didn't go for the stuff. If you can afford to do it, I would go for it.

princess: We will be there on May 30th to celebrate my daughter's 5th B-Day....Is a surprise for her..

My almost 6yo daughter and I are doing this on Mother's Day. It is a surprise for her also. A friend from town did it with her daughter and absolutely loved it. I can't wait.

Thanks for the info! It looks like this will be a go. princess:

Any suggestion for my 7 yr old son? I was thinking of the Pirate Cruise also at the Grand Floridian. pirate: It appears to be offered on the same day and time as the princess tea party. That would work since my husband will be in training during the day and I will have the kids by myself. My only worry is what if the pirate cruise finishes before the tea party? Does anyone know the times for each? I read the description on the main page, but reading posts it sounds like there is alot of variation.

Princess Tea Party is from 10:30am to 12:00pm

Great minds think alike, no?

I'm a little bummed that it's the day before her bday, but they don't offer it on Saturdays. Then again, she was born only 20 seconds after midnight, so I always feel like the 20th is more her birthday anyway!

We took my dd and dn last Aug. They got so much personal attention from the staff. It was wonderful. I would do it again in a heart beat. I have never seen them so excited. I enjoyed the food but not all kids would. My dd enjoyed some of the food dn very picky just drank her mothers tea but still loved it.
Have fun and don't worry about little things.

The pirate cruise does start before the tea but it also ends before the tea so it would be pretty hard to manage both kids attending with you picking up.

This summer my daughter (17) took my niece (4) to the tea and I took my nephew to the pirate cruise...then shuttled between the two picking up and dropping off. I don't see how you could manage it.

We are also doing this on Mother's Day. I couldn't think of a more special thing to do ... it's just the two of us and so no one will feel left out... :earsgirl:
