My DS is going with his high school marching band in December. We are hoping the tour company will give them their tickets before the 30 day mark so they can make a few fast passes. I would like to link my DS's 3 friends to my MDE and make fastpasses for them. What is the best way to go about this? Should they make their own account and then I try and link them with an email invitation? Is there a better way? They are all under 18 if that makes a difference. Thoughts??

My personal opinion is if they are not part of your immediate family, they should have their own (or be on their parents) MDE account. As for having their own MDE accounts, anyone 13 and older can open one.

When I went with my daughters 2 years ago for their school trip, I added their 3 good friends onto my account and linked their tickets to be able to manage the FP+ selections and such. It worked great and made things a lot easier. Of course in that situation, the 3 friends did not have the app and were not using it for any reason. If your DS's friends will have the app and want to see and manage their stuff, then I would definitely agree with what erionm posted and have them set up their own accounts. You don't want them having access to your account for many reasons.

If they are not going to be wanting to use the app, then I think adding them to your account is easy and effective. Just remember when you return to call Disney and have them remove the friends from your "Friends and Family" list.
