Ok trip is over, complete, the passes are expired. Can I remove the friends we traveled with and passes that are expired? Ideally I would like to keep my immediate family and the magic bands associated with us for another trip.

You can go into the Friends & Family list in MDE. From there, click on the EDIT button next to the name you want to delete. Scroll down on the next page and click REMOVE.

I haven't figured out how to remove old, expired passes. I can see used tickets from my sister and brother-in-law that I know have no entitlements on them but the "cards" still shows under their names. These are not old room keys. They are tickets that were used and have no more admissions left on them. I can deactivate the "cards", but I cannot remove them.

I asked Disney IT about removed old expired cards. They told me to deactivate them. I said I understood I could deactivate, what I wanted to do was remove them. They said "They aren't hurting anything."
I gave up. :rolleyes1

Old "cards" are like old magic bands - they are attached to a person's account, and if those persons purchase new admission media, those cards will then be "live" just the way your bands are. (They will not, though, work as room keys, if I'm remembering.) Hence deactivating them will at least prevent them from being able to do anything.

I can see where as the years go on, it could become a real pain as more and more bands and/or cards begin to accumulate on one's MDX account. At some point there will need to be a way to delete them. My account currently shows me three bands and four cards, with no way to tell which card on the account corresponds to which physical card in my possession.

Presumably your fully-consumed tickets no longer appear in the "Tickets and Passes" section. Mine all disappeared as soon as all their entitlements were gone.

At some point Disney will fix this. Especially when you have 10 MagicBands and 20 cards... etc etc. I have emailed them also requesting to at least "hide" unused cards.

Unfortunately you can't delete friends/family unless they have no cards attached to them I think. Correct me if I am wrong here.

I've tried to do it as well. Doesn't work. You can't delete them, if they have anything tied to them…even if what they have tied to them is expired. I just deactivated them, but find it super annoying.

Finding the same. I can deactivate the passes, but can't remove the people. Extra frustrating because it's a whole group of my daughter's friends that were all there on a school chorus trip together. We won't be traveling with them again so I really would like them off my screen every time I log in.

These are people that you added to manage under your own accounts and they don't have their own MDE accounts, correct? If you manage them, then I think the only way they can be deleted is by the Disney IT support customer service. I had multiple listings of one person on my account, and they were able to delete the other listings, leaving me with just one. However, when they do that, the bands associated with that account are not able to be used again in the future, so we had to toss them.

If the old photo pass website was any indication, then you could have a ton of cards and Magic bands. Each time we went to Disney, we would get a new photo pass card-sometimes a couple if we were with extended family. They never removed the old card numbers and we had over 70 cards listed on my photo pass account.

I had this problem with one of the relatives that I managed in my account. I kept "deleting" her but she stayed around like a parasite.

Finally she dropped off my "Friends & Family" list, but she was still on my "Magic Bands & Cards" page with all of the de-activated KTTW room keys.

I called the support number and the lady removed all of the de-activated cards, which was nice, and FINALLY my pesky relative is gone from MDE. :woohoo:

(She was really annoying on the trip and I will never go with her to WDW again. :))
