My Disney Experience - maintain itinerary history?

For those of you who have already visited Disney World having used the magic bands and My Disney Experience App, can you please answer the following:

  • Does the My Disney App maintain a history of the fast passes you selected and used AFTER they have been used? (i.e., If I go into the app the next day, will it list the FP's I used yesterday?)
  • Does the My Disney App maintain a history of the other rides that have been experienced through the stand-by process?
The reason I am asking is because my husband maintains a detailed log of every ride we have ever ridden on in any Disney park. (OK, maybe it is his way of dealing with waiting in lines!)

No and no.

There's no ride history saved. I mean you could take screenshots and save the info. But once that day is over the fast pass info that you used for the day is gone.

How close to the FP time are you allowed to delete a FP? In the past, we've missed FP times for whatever reason and it wouldn't let us get a 4th FP because all 3 for the day were still there, or we chose to go to another park instead of the park where our FP are for.

But once that day is over the fast pass info that you used for the day is gone.
This is incorrect.

On the MDE website, select 'My Reservations & Tickets' from the MDE drop down menu. At the top left (above the words 'My Reservations'), select 'Show Past Items' from the drop down menu.

So when you click that you see every fast pass you've ever used at Disney?

OP, in case you didn't know, the MDE app and MDE website are two different things. You use the app on your smartphone or tablet, and access the website through a web browser on your tablet or computer. Both use the same login and password info. As the PP mentioned, only the website maintains past reservation information, including Fastpasses. Keep in mind, it maintains all reservations, but I don't think it keeps track if you actually used them all or not. As for getting on attractions via stand-by, that's not a reservation, so the information isn't gathered, so you're out of luck there.

Maybe the app is different than the website, but I just went to June 10, 2015 under "My Itinerary" on the MDE website and saw all of my FP selections, including ones I added beyond the 3rd FP.

My MDE app has saved my old FP info from my trip last July. I have gone back to check numerous times, usually to confirm something for someone here. For example, one post was asking if they had time to get from an 11am BOG to a 1pm FP. I thought I had pretty much done exactly what they were asking with no problem at all but I wanted to confirm so I went into the app to confirm the times so that I knew I was posting with 100% accuracy. MDE app > My Account > My Reservations > View Your Past Items.

Last summer was our first vacation in 9 years and I knew my family would want to know what we were up to so every day I posted during our lunch ADR what we had done so far then at the end of the day (or the beginning of the next day at some point) I would post what we did the rest of the day. I am really glad I did that, again because it can be helpful to answer questions here. People will ask what their frame of mind should be for 4th of July and I can go back and read exactly what we were able to do.
