My Disney Experience issues-help needed

I've had the app installed on my phone and have used it in the past. I've just booked again and went to look at the app. It wouldn't work so I uninstalled it and when I went to my Playstore to install it again it wouldn't install and said your device isn't compatible with this version. Any ideas what I need to do? I have a Samsung S3. Will I not have an app to use this trip? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

use the website in a browser on your phone, I have the same problem
 
Yeah, they upped the minimum version of Android needed to use the MDE app, so now you can't reinstall it. Mine had even worked on Android 4.4 until I had to wipe the phone. I couldn't install after that. I upgraded to a newer phone.
 

That's what I thought. What I did figure out and did was : I opened it in my browser as suggested above and then added it to my home screen so now all I have to do is tap it when I want to go to my Disney experience and it pulls it up. ( a short cut).

In all honesty I prefer the website over the app anyway.

thanks! I don't want to force a software update on my phone a few days before our trip and just paid off the phone in September enjoying the lower bill.
 
Me too, old phone. But when I pull up the info on MDE using the browser I cannot figure out how to modify a fast pass +. I have to cancel it to look at a different time or a different experience and that can be kind of dicey. I can do that easily on my computer. And I can't remember if the app did/does that or not. I like my Note 2 :) What am I missing in that step?

Modify is a choice. Just click on the Fast Pass in the My Disney Experience menu
Touch the FP you want to modify
The modify choice is on the left
