Not sure what area to post this in. Apologies and please relocate if I put it in wrong spot.

I was using Disney’s website the other day to check regular rates and also to check a special return guest code. Today every time I try to access the site, I seem to be on the UK or Europe section and can’t change it or get prices. Is there something up with the site? Any help?
I’ve been on hold forever with tech support 😕

Their website is terrible. Try clearing cookies or opening an incognito window.

Hope tech support can help. It seems every time they update web site something goes wrong. I’ve had to phone tech support more than i‘d like.

You got a UK cookie stuck on your browser. Ask you need to do is go in to your browser settings and clear all cookies with the word Disney in it. You can look for just the rogue UK cookies but I find it easier to clear them all

Tech support can't fix it for you because it's your browser issue

Happens to us too on occasion. Sometimes we can't get out of the UK site because of the biscuits 😂

The worst is when we keep getting sent to the log-in prompt, over and over and over....

Ugh, I have had this problem off and on for the last couple of years, most recently this afternoon! Sometimes clearing all my web browser history and cookies/biscuits fixes it, but today even after clearing everything, it still came up as UK & Ireland even after I logged into MDE, which is clearly registered to a US mailing address. I had to clear everything a second time before it finally sent me to the US site...I feel like I have fewer problems with this on Chrome vs Safari, but I don't think either one is foolproof. I'm not sure why an international website like Ikea can automatically detect that I'm in the US and will default to the US website and pricing, or at least ask if I want to go to the US site, whereas the Disney websites will just sometimes randomly decide that I'm Canadian or European and won't even give me the option to select another region. It's definitely frustrating but it's not just you!

Yes, thanks. I was in hold forever, but a nice CM was finally able to help me.

It's not just Disney! I'm in Canada but I often buy things online from the States (I'm from there and my family lives there still) and there are lots of websites that won't even let access the US version of the site! It's super frustrating! I know it's not the exact same situation but it's really annoying when they control which websites you can access based on your IP address!
