On the way home, my carryon beeped, so they looked at it more closely on the Xray and asked what was in it that might beep. I told them Disney pins, we had bought a lot to start all of our grands off in pin trading. They didn't open it, but said I had to step aside (this right after we were already late for our plane, since we had to go to the National counter when our car didn't register EA). I had to take off my sneakers (after a week at Disney..poor girl), and they brought them over to a machine and put a wand in them and we had to wait for a little test to make sure they had no explosives (she said that). When that was done, I was thoroughly wanded (and grateful I had a female..it was a bit too thorough for me!). What I didn't understand, is the offending bag wasn't even opened.
