OOPS--again--sorry mods. Would you be so kind as to move this over to the Reviews board? Thanks!

Since we did not have hoppers this trip, whatever park we were in that day was basically where our meals were, except for resorts. Today was Epcot day. We spent the 1st half of the day doing the rides, test track, Nemo, Journey into Imagination, etc. We had fast passes for test track later in the day and did not want to walk all the way over to the countries only to have to come back for our fast passes, so we decided to have lunch at Seasons which turned out to be a great idea.

I loved that there were different "stations" and that the selections were somewhat healthy. I had the salmon with some kind of tapenade for sauce, veggies and I believe creme brulee for dessert. DH and DD had a salad with grilled tuna and DS had some yummy kind of sandwich on ciabetta bread. He had strawberry shortcake for dessert and ended up eating DD's as well. All of our meals exceeded our expectations and was probably the best counter service of the trip. DS was able to get a powerade for his drink, which was nice. I had a really good citrus iced tea. Since it was self serve, service didn't really come into play. The girls who served and checked us out were efficient and friendly.

Overall Grade: A (counter service-wise)

Teppan Edo: Our ADR was early--4:50--but the latest we were able to get. We arrived on time and were seated in about 5 minutes. The restaurant was not crowded at all at that time, but by the time we left, was packed. My family has always been a big fan of hibachi and we have several excellent hibachi restaurants in our town and neighboring towns. For this reason, I was a little reluctant to try this, but the kids really wanted to and I always enjoy the food, so went for it. First off, the waitstaff was so over the top with the "thank you very much" that it became a joke for us for the rest of the trip. I mean it was totally bordering on the ridiculous. While waiting for our chef to arrive, we noticed the chef across the way and how bad she was. Must've been a trainee or something because ours was quite good. I ordered a sushi appetizer and DS ordered some kind of tuna/avocado appetizer, which was just that--tuna and avocado in a glass. My sushi was just OK and rather small portioned. I ordered scallops and the rest of my family ordered filet mignon for our entress. My scallops were delish and my taste of the filet was also very good. None, however, were cooked as ordered. At the hibachi restaurants we usually go to, there is soup, salad and a shrimp appetizer included with dinner as well as fruit for dessert. Here we did receive dessert--green tea pudding which was quite tasty--but nothing else. For the price, I felt we should have gotten bigger portions. Overall, the food was good, service over the top (but not in an especially good way), and atmosphere was fun.

Overall Grade: B
