Hi, My family and I were at WDW from 9/12 to 9/21 of this year. We had the free dining plan and we did use it. I wanted to post some reviews of the restaurants we went to.

1. 9/1208- We went to Wolfgang Puck's Restaurant for Dinner in Downtown Disney. We didn't have a reservation. They quoted us 20 minutes for a party of 6 with one high chair, it landed up being an hour. I don't know if our waiter was new but he was hardly ever around. The food was not that good. The portions were large but the food was dry and bland. I would rather have a smaller portion of good food. Our waiter forgot some of our order so some entree's were later than others. He took our dessert and coffee order but never brought it. He only brought the check. So, at this point, we just used our free dining but we did speak to the manager. He gave us coffees and desserts to go which was okay.

2. 9/13/08 - We had dinner reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Castle at Magic Kingdom for Dinner. This was the meal we were most looking forward to. It DID NOT meet any expectations. It was horrible in our opinion. This is 2 Table Service Meals on the dining plan. It is not worth it in my opinion. First off, the princesses are not there at dinner, it is only the Fairy Godmother and the two mice upstairs. You do get a picture with Cinderella downstairs but that doesn't make up for her and the princesses not being upstairs. They don't stop long enough for a picture, all of our pictures are blurred. They don't sign autograph books. I just think that is horrible. The menu is scarce. There are very few choices . And the food.......... it was dry, bland and tasteless. Maybe someone else had a better dinner meal but for us, it was terrible. I am thinking of complaining to Disney about it. We expected a lot more for that meal.

3. 9/14/08 - Crystal Palace Breakfast in Magic Kingdom with Pooh and friends.
This was a great breakfast. The buffet food was what you would expect. The characters took their time with you, pictures, autographs, etc. THey even had a parade with the kids. This was a great character meal.

4. 9/15/08 - Chef Mickey's Dinner at Contemporary
This was a great dinner. The food was what you would expect for a buffet dinner. The characters spent a lot of time with you for pictures and autographs. It was a great meal.

5. 9/17/08 - Hoop De Doo Revue Dinner at Fort Wilderness
This did not meet our expectations. We heard a lot of great things about this show and was expecting more. The food was okay for barbeque food. The chicken and ribs were a little dry but they did give you plenty of it. The show was okay, but we just thought it would be more interactive. We don't think it was worth 2 Table Services.

6. 9/18/08 - Coral Reef Dinner at Epcot
This was our BEST Meal for dinner. The kids loved the aquarium and the fish. It kept them entertained. The adults had a great meal. THe food was great. The steak was cooked just right. The pork was moist . The grouper was flaky and moist. The food was excellent. Would definately recommend this restaurant. This would give you an adult meal while keeping the kids happy at the same time. IT was great. Our best meal of our trip. :)

7. 9/18/08-- 1900 Park Fare Breakfast, Grand Floridian
The characters stop for pictures and to sign autograph books but in our opinion, don't stay too long. The food was what you would expect for a buffet breakfast.

8. Ohana Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at Polynesian
This was pretty good. The wait was long even with a reservation but all in all, the food and entertainment was good. All is served family style so everyone eats what they want. The do make eggs/ egg whites to order. The characters stay a while, take pictures, sign books. They have a little parade.

I hope this helps other people. All in all, we had a great time and wouldn't trade it for the world. :)

princess: I really enjoyed your reviews. We once had ressies for HDDR for our family of 5 but we ended up cancelling and I don't regret it. We did not have the DDP and it was just so expensive (plus one child was sick).

I have been curious to try CRT princess: but I have heard from several people that the food is just so so. It is too bad that more characters weren't there or that your food was not better for a 2 TS meal!

Sorry, the thumbs down was meant for CRT, not your review but I messed up!!
