We just got back early Sunday morning and I have major trip hangover...but here are my reviews....

Day One: We ate at Chef Mickey's for dinner. We've been before and like the atmosphere. It's a great way to start the trip. The food was just OK. The parm. mashed potatoes were awesome. Everything else was just "eh". Character interaction was good. I'm sure we'll do it again, just because it's our first night at Disney tradition.

Day Two: We did the Sci Fi for lunch for my ds's 9th birthday (and mother's day). Food was good. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich, dh had the rueben and the boys had burgers (kids meal) and split a cookies and cream milkshake (YUMMY!). Our server brought our ds a complimentary sundae for his birthday and sang to him. It was fun. The boys liked the movies...

Day Three: We did Sunshine Season Food fair in the Land for Lunch. I love that place! Great selection of food, makes everyone happy! I had a chicken caeser salad, dh had a veggie wrap, ds 4 had a corn dog and ds 9 had chicken fingers. All food was really good. Definately my top choice for counter service in that part of EPCOT. For dinner, we ate at BOMA for the first time. Loved it. Food was really good, different, exotic. Desserts were to die for (coconut tiramasu...OH BOY!!). Our server was the BEST. His name was Steve, and he was terrific. He convinced my ds 4 to have milk instead of soda by telling him that Jafar (his favorite character!) drinks a glass of milk every night at 7 p.m. It worked like a charm. Then a while later he brought my ds an autographed picture of Jasmine and Aladdin. Very sweet. Service was wonderful. My ds 9 dropped his fork and Steve had a clean one in a matter of seconds without us even asking! We will definately try BOMA again!

Day 4: We ate at the Trails End buffet in FW this morning before heading to the MK. We love it there. The best value in Disney for sure. Food was good, hot and plentiful. Service was very good!
We ate dinner at Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland. It was good. I had rotisserie chicken. Tasty. Good for a quick meal.

Day 5: Breakfast was in the food court of POR. We had dinner at Artist Point in the WL while our boys went to the Cub's Den. Dinner was AWESOME!! We had the chef's menu (4 courses for $47 per person) The smoked portabello mushroom soup is UNBELEIVEABLE!!! OMG!!! I had the beef tenderloin and dh had the buffalo. We both enjoyed our meals. Dessert was so good but I could barely touch mine (coffee two ways) as I was too full. Dh had the berry cobbler and finished it up!

Day 6: We had breakfast at Boatwrights at POR. Dh and I were still full from dinner so we split the banana stuffed french toast. It was very good, a little too sweet. Our server, Dawn, was wonderful. She found out from talking to our boys that they were both celebrating birthdays while we were in Disney, so she brought them both out a rice krispy treat mickey pop with a candle and the whole restaurant sang to them. Very special!
We had dinner at EPCOT: Tangerine Cafe for dh and I (shawarma sandwiches...very good!) and America for the boys (go figure!)

Day 7: We had breakfast in the food court today. Dinner was at Boatwrights. It was ok. I don't know if I'd spend the money to eat there again. I had pork tenderloin and dh had sirloin steak. my boys had pizza and a burger. The burger was WAY over cooked (black!!) so I asked for something else (no way my son was eating that!) Our server brought him chicken fingers instead.

Day 8: Breakfast at the AK at Donald's Breakfastasauras. Probably the worst buffet I've had in Disney. Food was boring. Character interaction was good, once they finally came out to our table. Won't be going back there anytime soon.
We grabbed a quick dinner at the POR food court before we left for the airport.

All in all, we ate well, had a couple of treats along the way (mickey pops, dole whip float, rootbeer float, toll house cookie sandwich...etc.) and we had a GREAT trip!!

Thanks for the dining reviews. I love to hear where everyone eats! :teeth: :Pinkbounc
