one of the receipts I am looking at says 2 icecream bars, 2 large cokes - 12.50
Soda 2.50 icecream 2.50
lg soda from CR 2.00
Another receipt says 22oz coke , 22oz rootbeer, 22 oz sprite, lg bottled water 12.63

Hope that helps. Expensive huh? The pop machine in my hotel a bottle of pop was $1.25.

Very interesting. I picked the dining plan but I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not. I already booked at several restaurants and the prices seem high, so it seemed like a good deal. Thanks for info!

Why do you assume she overpaid for her room? She PAID for the dining plan, so she could add any room discount that she was eligible for.

It's the FREE dining plan deal that requires the room to be rack rate. That hasn't even started yet!

I used the dining plan in April. Since I was able to book with an email code, our room was less than $70.00 a night.

We're using the dining plan again in October. I'm paying rack rate for the room, but all meals are free so I'm still coming out ahead.
