My dh just drunk-dialed me...

Drunk dialing is hysterical. Only not so hysterical when you're completely gone and then decide to call your parents at 4 in the morning telling them "i loooooooooooooove and totally, like....appreciate ya'll and stuff." Not that I've ever done that


But hey, it's sweet that your DH was thinking of you even though he was completely inebriated

Hey, I'm going away this weekend and DH is staying home...maybe I can drunk dial him? It will all depend on if I can get to a bar to watch the Sabres game tonight. I'm going with the girls and my MIL and SIL and her 2 kids. My kids would be fine if I went out, not sure my SIL would leave her kids for even a few minutes...she is way to over protective of them (all kids are between 13 and 18, with 2 of mine being the youngest and the oldest.)

Yeah I'm expecting one of those calls tonight from my dh-he's in Alaska. His trip just got extended by 2 more days b/c his company didn't ship a part to a customer-so he has today and tomorrow to mess around in Anchorage. I'm sure he'll find some drinking establishment to chase the blues away . Of course, I'll be sitting by the pool tonihgt to do the same thing . Guess we'll just get silly togther. He travels all the time but never on a holiday weekend so we're both kind of bummed.

It was about 20 years ago that my ex-dh called me 3 sheets to the wind from his brother's wedding reception in Milwaukee and caught up in the moment and the beer, proposed. I was stupid enough to accept this drunken long distance spur of the moment proposal.
