My DH has a new employee that is a former CM who says........

When I was working at the "Mickey Mouse" phone company the perks were:
Free admission for myself - anytime plus three family members 12 times a year (basically once a month).

Comp Tickets were given out 4 times a year (picture a plain white piece of paper with a bar code on it).
Historically Monday, Saturday, then Thursday for the MK. Monday because most people arrrive Sunday.

Free stroller rentals, free parking, 50 - 75% off hotel rates, 50 % off lowest water park rates (if FL. residents were $15.00 we were $7.50), 20% shopping dining discount ; 35% after 3 years.

Since I was at the phone company they also provided coffe, tea, and hot chocolate. Soda you had to pay for. They also fed us once a month. (bbq, subs, etc.) Once they passed out a menu for steak etc. and it was "majority rules" on the meal.

The best thing about being at the phone company was you access to just about every bit of WDW info. When they found out I was into "useless" trivia they printed me out a black binder that was 3" thick with facts, figures, statistical info. on all kinds of stuff. I still ahve it.

Of course there is riding new attractions first and going to Hotels for dinner/stays before they are open to the public. My wife and I got to go for dinner and drinks at Coronado before it opened.

There were many others but that is all I remember.

Those perks that Dznefreek described are not the same as the ones offered at TDS. TDS get different perks that are no where near as extensive, although very nice.

As I have said before, to work at TDS, you really have to LOVE Disney... don't do it just for the perks, but because you TRULY want to be there.

On a Keys to the Kingdom Tour about 10 days ago, our tour guide told us that EPCOT stands for "Everyone's Pay Comes on Thursday". Maybe that's why it's so crowded!

My son starts at a Disney Store next week after he gets home from college. I will be interested in seeing if I can get a discount on our room for our vacation coming up in June.

I would recommend that your son speak to his store manager in regards to the discounts that he is entitled to.

I was told that EPCOT stood for Every Person Comes Out Tired. :)

Everyones Pay Comes Out Thursday.

and I am sure there are more...
