My DH finally understands us Diser's!!!!

DH went with me to the doc yesterday. I went to talk about the Novasure procedure which I am interested in having done. While there, the doc explained a total of 5 procedures that I had to chose from, one was Novasure, all with the same outcome.

As soon as we left, DH suggested I ask about the other procedures to my DIS friends, whether anyone has had one done, pro's and con's about each procedure, you get the picture. He was very serious and not joking.

He finally understands!!!!!!!!!

Am I allowed to post this? Anyway, some of the posts there are kind of freaking me out, they tell more gory details than the Dr. did. I still think I will get this done after all our summer trips.

Accually, I found that site this morning. I have decided on the freezing method, called Her Option, done in the office. I'll take Ativan before hand to relax me. I hope I don't say anything embarrassing in my looped up state!!

I have not heard of that one, but looked it up. Did you schedule it yet? I am sure you WILL say something embarrassing in your looped up state! I will be at outpatient with an IV sedation and will surely do the same afterward. I have for the last couple minor things I was "under" for. DH kids me about it for DAYS!

Nope, I did schedule it yet. I will do that on Monday. Before the procedure they will have to do an edometrial biopy. This is just to make sure that everything is fine up in Never Never Land!!!!

, you ain't a kidding. Makes the time I DIS easier to justify!! Hey, remember about my DH and I joining the AARP and you posted about hotel savings, well we joined. We will be saving quite a bit of money on our hotel in Ocean City, Maryland this summer. And tomorrow he is taking me to the Eastern Shore in Maryland for some good seafood to celebrate our 7th anniversary!!! We are planning on staying the night there, so cha-ching, another savings. The savings have way more than paid for the dues. See, it does "pay" to DIS!!!!! Have a great evening .
