My DH finally "gets" the DIS!

Ok, last night my DH and I are talking Disney stuff (cause it's only 22 DAYS!!!)and I'm having fun and quizzing him with stuff like "What's the fastest route to Dumbo?" "Where are the strollers located in Epcot?" "Where's the best place to watch 'Wishes'" etc., when he looks at me and says (I kid you not) "I don't know...I figure I'll just ask someone in a lime green shirt." Gotta love him!!! He's finally understanding my addiction here!

My DH is a camera nut. He loves his camera forum. So he gets it. He doesn't know our colors or codes but he gets that there is a wealth of info here. I guess that is why I married him.... PS. Our first trip cost more than $8000 dollars for 6 days. Our last two trips averaged around $4300 for 12 days. I guess I learned something. The DIS rocks ! :

Kanga1 it looks like you will be there around the same time we are going. We check in on the May 24th we are staying at the WLV. I joined the Dis boards a long time ago and I am always checking for any new information I can use on upcoming trips. thanks Dis Friends!

My DH doesn't really 'get' the DIS, even though he is actually is a registered DIS user, with a total of one whole post. The only reason he registered was to be able to post a response to a thread on the community board about the Packers.

You know..it's too bad that lime green has become such a common color in todays fashion. It's going to be harder to ID Disers from the masses. Hopefully, that color will be old news by the time my trip finally rolls around in a year and 3/4.

We had a Boston Dis meet this past weekend, and my DH was very glad to see that there are others like me. We had a little support group going for the SOs of the Disers. Your DH should join, LOL!

MY DH doesnt really get it but he really appreciated it last month when we went to AK and the lines to get in were unbelievable. I just said no problem follow me and we entered thru the rainforest and no one was at that gate. He said read those boards as much as you can this is great. after almost 3 years of fairly constant visits to the Dis my DW is finally getting it. recently she just comes and sits while i am reading and asks question of where to do this and find that and i tell her just post it here and you willl get the answer. she hasnt posted yet but she is beginning tro understand why i visit here so often.

actually i havent told her of my addicition to this site.


the wealth of info here is just amazing.
