My husband tells me he bought me a gift today. Something that he saw that he felt I could really use, and made him think of me!
I guessed all the normal things like clothes, jewelry, perfume, etc.
Now before I go any farther, this is not for a B-day, Ann., or Christmas, just a "because I love you" gift. I was so excited I was about to bust, and he hands me a Chef's catalog. Okay, I am optimistic, so I smile, and then.............................................
he tells me he bought me a 6 quart Kitchen Aid Mixer. Then my surprise got better. He also bought me a cover for my mixer, and accessories! One accessory is a meat grinder. He then proudly tells me this mixer can make 10 loaves of bread, and 13 dozen cookies. Now I can be a serious person, but I just could not help myself. I cried trying not to laugh. We have a family of FOUR.
One of which is presently at college, leaving three of us at home.
He was touched that I was so overwhelmed with emotion that I cried. LOL This was really sweet of him, but 10 loaves of bread???????
I asked him just what exactly about this mixer reminded him of me. He replied, "You are such a good homemaker, and cook I wanted to buy you something to make your life easier!" I really did get teary eyed then.
BUT TEN LOAVES OF BREAD!!!!!?????? Oh, my!
I think I am going to need new receipes, and what exactly do you do with a meat grinder besides the obvious of grinding meat???
