My DDs high school is on lockdown.

OP, at first I thought, wow, I didn't know any other Disers in my town! Our high school went on lockdown this morning also. This is a small town, just a little over 1000 students at the high school, so phones started ringing pretty quick. We later found out that it wasn't a drill but that they were checking out some rumors and had brought the dogs in to do searches.
