How in the world did I miss this? :rotfl:

I was playing with DD last night and she was in a silly mood and I was tickling her and she was upside down on my lap and laughing really hard when I noticed she had one of her molars on the top coming in! She has been such a late teether to begin with - she got her first tooth at 11 1/2 months - she is 15 1/2 months now - and then I noticed ANOTHER molar on the other side! She still only has her two bottom teeth, so these are coming in a little differently than they are supposed to!

Anyway! I was just in shcok that she has two teeth almost completely broken through and I had no clue they were there! In my defense - they are hard to see!!

Here is my princess showing off her 6 teeth!! I guess that would be 8 now!!

If it makes you feel any better - when I took my oldest DS to his 15 month appt. the dr said "Oh look he already has all four of his molars in" - yep I had no idea he had any of his molars none the less four. No my current 15 month old (my third) I know ever cm that his teeth progress b/c he is the most miserable teether I have ever met

Lol

I'm wondering which teeth my son is currently getting. he's been sooooo cranky the last week...I just know that's what it is. :P

That does make me feel a little better!! :thumbsup2 I guess those molars are kind of hard to see back there!

I should have known something was going on with her, too. She has been cranky lately as well!. Now it all makes sense!

My 17 1/2 year old DD is getting her wisdom teeth - talk about cranky :rotfl: Hopefully they'll give her some wisdom...

The good news is that kids who get their teeth in later than average tend to have better teeth - stronger enamel, less cavities, etc. We learned this the hard way - both of my girls had at least 12 teeth by the first birthday party. They have enamel issues, serious, expensive enamel issues :scared1:

I have heard that before! I wonder if it is really true in most cases? She is definitely a late teether! I guess time will tell!!

When my youngest DS was 16 months I was trying to wake him up from a nap. I had him laying on my lap and opened his mouth. He had all 20 baby teeth! I was beyond shocked. Had no idea when or how he got all those :lmao: And he does have horrible teeth, by the way. I don't know if its true that the later the teeth the better, but he has horrible teeth, as does my DH.

I had the same thing I had no idea my DS had gotten his molars in either. I am going to be in dental hell if its true about early teeth. my DS had his teeth in super early like every tooth by 12 months. I guess I should start saving now.
