Natalie was poorly all through our wdw holiday and we thought it was the hot weather that was making her feel so ill. Since the beginning of term she has been in school for 6 days, because she always feels sick or has a bad headache, feeling very tired etc.we put this down to not wanting to go to school as she has such a bad time every now and again with bullying.
I finally took her to the doctors and he said she has glandular fever which can last up to 6 months :guilty: This is also known as the kissing disease!but the only thing she's been kissing is the dog! :rotfl: apparently it can be passed on through sharing toothbrushes, cups etc.

awww poor wee soul, hope she feels better soon

p.s. hope the dog doesn't catch it with all those kisses :rotfl:

That doesn't sound too good! :sad2: Just hope Natalie feels better soon... :grouphug:

Oh I am sorry - I had that at Uni (very very mildly) and it was no fun.

Sending you and her a huge :grouphug: I hope she feels a lot better soon

Arrgh poor Natalie. I hope she feels better soon. Sending you some pixie dust pixiedust: :grouphug:

I had this my GCSE year and it wiped me out, they were really good at assesing coursework based on previous attainment and were extrememly supportive. I think I had 4 full weeks off, followed by a couple of part time days a week to ease myself back in. Sending all the :grouphug: in the world for a speedy recovery

Hope she's feeling better soon

Sending Natalie best wishes for a speedy recovery. There seems to be a lot of illness/accidents occuring at the moment.

Aww I hope she feels better soon.

I had it when I got back from Mexico a couple of years ago. It's horrible especially when you don't know why you feel so awful. The first week or so after being diagnosed is the worse but gradually she will start to feel alive again. :grouphug:

Sending lots of best wishes, I hope your daughter feels better soon

i had it when i was in college, i had a month off, but i have never been right since and im 23 now. Before i had GF i never had throat infections or tonsilitas but i had them constantly for a year afterwards. Hope your daughter starts to feel abit better soon.
