So I just had my DCP phone interview about an hour ago and didn't really turn out like I expected. The first "Why Disney, Why do you want to do the DCP" question I wasn't asked but instead she went right in:
Florida or California?
Worked for Disney?
Roommates/Experience
International student?
Past work experience?
Heavy lifting?
Emergency situation?
Guest speaking different language?
Technology/comfortable?
Speaking in front of people?
Repetitive tasks?
Outdoors/the weather?
Heavy lifting?
What I looked forward to about it?
I asked:
How she got her career start at Disney
Question about DCP classes and scheduling
Now, I also need to add that my phone disconnected not once, but Twice!! Both times I apologized, and she said she understood and it was fine as long
as she could reach me again. She was very polite, genuine, really friendly but I noticed I didn't get any role based questions at all, aside from why I would be good for my top choice. I'll admit I got VERY nervous after the phone disconnected the first time, and especially after the 2nd. I probably sounded too apologetic the 2nd time.
Has anyone had a bad interview experience like this? And should the lack of role based questions and the first question that she didn't ask be a concern? Just curious....
