Called to sell me a vaccum cleaner.
I bet those calls were more fun when I was a kid... you know, BEFORE caller ID :rotfl2:

I told her I had to count the money in my daughters piggy bank, hang on. All the girls roared with laughter in the back ground! Kids are great!

It was so funny when the boys in my daughter's middle school grades would prank call - they used "Private Number" cell phones but I always knew who it was and called them by name. No fun when the mom calls you out!!!

That is so cute and funny! They think they're being so clever.

haha I used to LOVE doing these! Actually...I am 23 and I still prank call from time to time :thumbsup2

My friend and I made a prank call when we were 7, remember how you got your phones from the phone company? Well, our new phone had the little thing in it still with the old phone number on it....who belonged to someone who apparently was a witness against some biker gang....soooo the FBI showed up at our door and wanted to take my Mom in for questioning. She said No, she had a 7 week old baby ( my brother ) and her 7 year old was playing.....wait a minute!

Needless to say, we got a super big lecture from the FBI dudes about calling people and hanging up on them. I remember them sitting there in their suits, and my Mom on the couch feeding my brother like it was yesterday. She said the whole time all three of them were trying really hard not to laugh at us, and I spent the rest of the day behind the couch. Where of course, when they came back to get me, they would not be able to find me.

We never played ding dong ditch after that, either.

It scared the crap out of us. My dad drove a truck, and my Uncle worked in the office. Of course my Mom immediatelly called my Uncle, who radioed my Dad.

He came home and proceeded to announce he heard that the police where looking for two little girls who were making prank phone calls. I then moved from behind to couch, to behind our German Shepard. I knew she's protect me. Unlike my parents, who were apparently trying to make me have a stroke.
